Well from a real perspective not shadowed by hope and disappointment, the logical explanation is that Rockstar Games can NOT risk just letting a reveal by Game Informer without teasing it first. I mean, Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be their biggest title since 2013 and they know that not EVERYONE reads Game Informer.... I dont. So unless they plan to release a newswire post simultaneously then I dont buy it... sorry

If GI dropped their cover and it was Red Dead people would pay attention regardless of a tease. Plus it would kinda diminish the surprise of the cover reveal if Rockstar started hinting at it.

I get what youre saying. But then again, R* can take a second to retweet the post and it would reach then the same way... look how many people took it as a tease when rockstar retweeted last month from game informer "just finished RDR for the first time, the game sure lives up to its name and rep" somethin like that. They also could make another newswire post.. R* has no rules that they can only post once lol.

 

And good point sasquatch lol like i said earlier, its rockstars style to throw people off. This would be one of them since you see, they conditioned us to think without a "tease" first, nothing will happen.

startin to get nervous... also another thing to chew on, i think IF this is RDR2, they let andrew write it because he is such a big red dead fan. Which also would explain why he is so nervous. The nerves of writing something you love that you waited for so long and on top of that, knowing thousands are watching and anticipating that exact gane you have been wanting ro write about..? Hate to be that guy,but R* have tweeted about some gta online content today so i wouldn't have any expectations if i were you guys, because the higer your expectations are the more disappointed you'll be if it doesn't happen.

You are right and i appreciate the looking out still but idk why some people have this logic that cause of gta online, nothing else matters... this is rockstars next big game in over 5 years... they arent prioritizing gta even if it seems that way. While the dude posts on their twitter about it everyone else is working on RDR2 makin sure everyrhing is right! Anyways, we will see in 20 mins..

In these last moments of insanity waiting, i revised my comment and reposting to those who may have lost hope already. Look at it this way what the facts are why this makes sense

Id be nervous af too! Also 6 months... gta 5 got gi cover before it was supposed to come in may 2013. Rockstar confirmed themselves on the newswire post a few years ago it was gonna be out in may. So april-october whats that give ya? 6 months. We will see.. im ready for this
