But how can we over-analyze the HUD without a gameplay trailer ?

I'd like both. I need actual DETAILS about the game but at the same time trailers hype me up even more.

I'm interested to see when/how Rockstar will show a better look through marketing at John being in the game, if at all.

 

Otherthan possibly only having a minor role in RDR2 and not wanting to ruin a surprise appearance, I assume that they've left him out of material so far released as to not confuse anybody into thinking that he's the protagonist again instead of Arthur, otherwise we would have had greenrock ask if we play as John or Arthur many times by now.

Yeah Ill have two trailers, a number 9 large preview, a number 6 with extra screenshots, dutches bag, one with tease, two playable characters, one as john, and a large Game Informer cover.

But how can we over-analyze the HUD without a gameplay trailer ? I could care less, there is tons of time left gameplay is the last thing i expext to see. How the world works, what kind of systems & mechanics they have set up things of that nature, juicy details that a 2 min trailer won't tell you. People want trailer after trailer or gameplay wild early like RDR2 is a a ubisoft title or something. We know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about RDR2, 2 trailers haven't done sh*t to tell us anything about the game.

I’m torn...ending a trailer with hearing his voice would send hype into the stratosphere. Then again, imagine your first play through going to an unspecified mission marker and it happens to be John.
