Idk any other game or game dev i would put up with this much sh*t for. Maybe bully 2? Red dead redemption is really one of the best games ive ever played and when i got it i was like "this seems like it'll be cool. Ive played red dead revolver and the call of juarez series so i think this will be a nice western shooter" but it was actually f*cking amazing and more than that and really changed the way i look at games, especially from a storytelling perspective. Much like the first time i played mgs3: snake eater.

Yeah, no. There's definitely not going to be another delay. This marketing has been basically V except they didn't announce a release date for V when they originally revealed it. When they reveal a definite release date it won't get delayed.

A lot of people keep saying they're expecting another delay, which is probably not going to be the case.

 

Mr. Zelnick said the same about the spring timeframe.

 

So, yeah ... but I also think it won't be delayed any more, October 26th is set.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't a cover for any magazine at all, not even a preview. Magazines are major ways to get hype and Rockstar know that.

 

However, if they are going for a GI cover again, then I'd expect May.

Yeah, definitely not. The gameplay video for V came out in July which was like 2 months before the game actually came out in September. So... i guess gameplay video in August?

A GameInformer cover isn't necessary for great success I believe. Rockstar likes it when everybody can see the information I think. When GameInformer has a cover, people first need to buy it to read it.

I bet there will be an IGN preview in April/May.

 

I agree they don't need a GI cover, the R* newswire is actually enough to create hype and buzz.

Actually, there is some news we're still looking at over at PlanetRockstar.

We're having a hard time contacting some people and asking for some more proof before we report on it though.

 

No news is better than GTA Online news....
