So now that some people are packing for London everyone is hyped that we'll get something soon . huh.

 

Its probably nothing , as someone pointed out that they had a meet up last year too at the same place (Greenwich, London).

I think kirsty is just speculating , why would rockstar share whats about to go down at the event? ofcourse they want people to leak it right? Apologize if i cant share the same hype but its bs that we expect news every tuesday or thursday. And as long as we know ryanhunter couldve just had a lucky shot on the delay announcement. im pessimistic as f*ck right now because precious droughts have made me so. fight me.

Watch them release only a few shots and that's it for months to come, lol. Beyond tired of counting the minutes until something might happen. We had that with GTA V and no game is worth that in my opinion, especially with how the game turned out. Yes a great game but at the same time disappointing too in several regards.

 

I highly agree with this sentiment. I would've been better off with them announcing the game last January instead of this two year gap of basically nothingness. The only way i can see that as being beneficial is if they're watching us speculate for a year and then spending another year putting extra stuff in that we mentioned that they think might be good in the game. And I DO NOT think they are doing that.

Let's all remember that waiting for a Rockstar game is half the fun. :colgate:

 

GTA and RDR are "events" now, so we may as well sit back and enjoy the ride. And if we don't get anything today then we just move on. Simple as that.

R* have a tendency to announce games a bit too early.

Mostly because they also have a tendency to delay their games significantly.

 

There are good reasons for an early announcement though.

 

-You get ahead of possible leaks.

-You give your team that extra motivation while transitioning into crunch.

-You appease your publisher who can´t wait to tell his investors a new R* game is coming during the current fiscal year.

I know how hard it is to relax and be chill, but that´s really all you can do.

I´ve gotten the hang of it now that I´m older.

As far as I am aware, Rockstar don't tend to do game revels in London. Rockstar typically get people to fly to Scotland to the Rockstar North HQ, the proof? CVG from 2013 and 2012 days, the guys who got to play the game early. Other than that, a few years ago Rockstar was present at E3 in a hidden room, remember? Other than that, there's no evidence to support the fact that Rockstar would do anything in London, unless of course they have decided to change the normal and host a new event there.

Makes sense that perhaps Rockstar do an event today, plot a reveal at 5PM on their websites, in the update on the website are some screenshots then some links to selected Forums with exclusive screenshots. A bit like they did for GTA V back in 2013.

If nothing happens then it was the most logical explanation to today's events. Peace out.

^ yes sir! Spread the word to your friends! You can see the exclusive showing of "Game Informed or Nah" featuring Red Dead Redemption and the same actors as the last hope. This time the housers will be a part of the cast as well!! Next weeks showing is subject to change though so stay tuned in the coming weeks to our newswire.
