they changed the update.rpf and the GTAV.exe

BUT, the only thing that got changed in the update.rpf was the version.txt.

NOTHING MORE.

maybe they added something to the .exe, but don´t think so.

both literally and figuratively with the double cash on terrorbyte jobs and now double vip work

but why??????? keep the players playing while waiting for rdr 2 online perhaps?

what will happen to GTA right after rdr 2 is released? will there still be weekly events?

There's 2 long months between now and december when we're probably getting the next GTA update, r* wouldn't just kill off GTA cash cow

Easy. 

 

>Player logs on for free money and good bonuses.

 

>Player sees RDR2 advertising on the loading screen.

 

And that's all there is to it. Easy way to put RDR2 ads right in front of more players eyes. As for weekly events, I'm sure they will continue, and I doubt they are killing anything off. They are just slowing down.

The bonuses are good, but - what do I need to make money for?

 

Patch some stuff, that's what I want. Also give quinn "innovation", which is presumably code for boots with jeans and other clothes. Oh, and buff stuff, that's always good.

Actually I only have 1 super (Tyrus) as more in to sports and classics. Is the Vagner worth getting or even Taipan as both are on sale

Vagner is good if you're in to racing, if not it doesn't matter that much. Taipan is imo a waste of money no matter what ;)

I seriously don't understand why some people think these two games are mutually exclusive, and can't exist simultaneously. They will, and R* will monetize both as long as they can, since GTA and RDR don't even have the same core audience. I see absolutely nothing strange about continuing event weeks in GTA Online and updating it every few months, especially when no one knows how will RDR Online work, and if it's even able to replicate the initial success of GTA Online. Look at Fallout 76, where a solid part of the core Fallout playerbase is not even interested in it, for various reasons, and the game isn't even out yet.

It would be idiotic to shut one profitable game down in favour of another one, appealing to different audience, which may not even succeed (it's unlikely, but still, there's a chance for that).

 

Pretty decent even wekk, from what I see. Double money for bunkers, that's awesome. Logged in, sold my goods for 450k in just few minutes. None of the discounts appeal to me, though - nothing interesting, the same garbage yet another time, for the most part. They should give us a discount of Terrorbyte already, instead of discounting the same vehicles over and over again.

I reported wrong info, I'm gonna log into GTA Online and kill myself but now I can be the new Softsecrets.

Not to brag or anything like that, but I don't think I played GTA Online for two months now. Even though After Hours added things I wanted, it was just disappointing for me overall. I don't think I'll play again until the beginning of November, but even then I'll probably be more focused on several other games.

 

Anyway, it doesn't surprise me they discounted GR stuff yet again, although they at least added some DDH vehicles to the mix. And no new leaks or rumors have surfaced, right? It's not quite the same with Yan gone (or just not giving us leaks). 😞

I have received my 250k for Revolver but not for Stone Hatchet. I received both on my 2 alternate accounts. Does the game not recognise I have done it? I killed players with it in the past week, won Diamond Shopping by hiding in the small room inside Vangelico while WW3 broke out outside and I killed the CEO with the Stone Hatchet when he finally picked up the Diamonds.

^^ I know I've said it before, but Rockstar have proven themselves unable (based on a number of past user experience reports right here in the forums) to simply GIVE everyone who logs in GTA$, even when they have clearly earned it.

 

Meanwhile, select others get multiple deposits of GTA$ for the same reward and just sit there shaking their head while raking in the money...

 

Pretty sad statement about whatever system Rockstar uses to monitor things.

Well, I cancelled my pre-order last week but I still received the discounts for pre-ordering this week, LOL!

All the SAS vehicles, which apparently includes the Jester Classic, LOL!

And the other stuff. Like I need it, lol.

Fantastic that double Stunts is back, especially with bunker and NC churning out cash at the same time.
