Aye it seems to be the same sort of missile launcher from the AA Trailer, perhaps a 4 tube design instead of a 6 tube? 

 

Then again I'm thinking it looks vaguely similar to the Khanjali's Railgun cannon and if that's the case, that truck could be a bit OP.

Personally, we shouldn't need a defense system - that's the root problem, IMO: the fact that there's an 'arms race' in GTAO at all...

 

Hopefully it's just an option, and we can leave the guns/armour off - as someone who couldn't care less about Freemode warzones and any bulls*** with the word 'weaponised' attatched, I just like the idea of being able to own a truck, even just as a useless Pegasus novelty.

 

But that's just me, and I'm still annoyed that the 'Hauler Phantom Custom' looks like this gun-toting waste of space:

I have a feeling that this isn't a player tattoo or new clothes, i think it's a decoration object. 
Won't be bad either way. Or cosplay Siren from Borderlands if those are tattoos/clothes, or build up the little copy of "Afterlife" from Mass Effect 2 if it's a hologram or something

Yeah I get you but you know they won't remove deluxos, oppressors and jets and all that stuff. They won't go back at this point.
So its better to at least have the option to fight them off and protect yourself. Weaponized delivery vehicle is a good thing in my book.

That's a Phantom Custom though, the civilian looking one. (Imo the best thing in that dlc).

 

I get your point regarding the Hauler though. I wanted a regular looking Hauler to make it look like a Gulf truck ... Not a "Goliath" one.

 

 

 

I sincerely hope that the Wedge, the SAM & the armor plating are optional.

Well, just make the thing Insurgent-level explosion-proof - that's all the protection it really needs...

 

Or, again, make the guns optional - they actually tried this out with the Revolter/Savestra/Comet Safari, so I don't get why they can't make gun mounts an optional upgrade for this as well.

 

That way, everyone wins, and it's not an either/or scenario.
