No, that’s a good point you bring. I was also thinking about this and the implications. Like, this dlc being delayed a bit because of technical difficulties arising from the amount of stuff being put into the game and the loading times. This is just pure speculation, but I’m thinking the game is finite and can’t have many things being put into it without borking out.

Not sure how I feel about combining updates into one. If the patch notes don't fix anything (as they often do) - well, you're only getting one set of notes for two updates, rather than seperate patches/opportunities for two seperate updates.

 

Basically I just want stuff buffed and certain explosives made huge so I can drop them from thousands of feet in the air. And maybe get a reticle I can use to aim properly with.

In 2016 and 2017 we had an update in June then September time so I’m guessing if the drip feed is going to last to rdr2 then we won’t be getting the September update and we’ll just have to wait till December.

yeah, that's why Last Gen stopped being updated i think. too much stuff on such a weak console. let's hope that doesn't happen again with this gen.

Wouldn‘t be much of a surprise after promoting nightclubs for a month, wouldn‘t it?

R* usually hints at an upcoming update around 1 to 2 months before the update/trailer is released. the only difference with a surprise update is the trailer coming out when the update comes out/after the update comes out and i think a bit less hinting.

They mentioned dropping update info soon in their Tuesday blog. Expecting info today, although wouldn't be surprised if another week passes..

Well, this update is BIG in terms of content and features if we are following the leaks from Yan, etc. then the trailer has to be out before the update is released. So I am hoping the day for that is today.

Besides the obvious leaks. I am interested in seeing what they add next but it will most likely be cars based on concepts 

 

This may be a longshot but it would be pretty awesome if we get to DJ in the club ourselves and not just run it as a business.

That's my logic. I think the Halloween/Xmas stuff will be hidden in with this too, if there's new for then. (The odd car/outfits etc. Basically, a really long dripfeed with the regular holidays covered just in case RDR2 doesn't do as hoped). From there, once the other game drops. They'll probably play it by ear. If this gets dropped by the majority for that. It'll give them a good opportunity to wrap things up and move on with the franchise. If indeed that's the plan and they are stretching this game too much to add much more as easily. But if they can add much more, and they playerbase is still strong and profitable.

 

Anything really, lol. Huge potential though, either way, it'll be great for us more keen, especially for those that like both franchises. Quite exciting spell for me.

Well this is a Summer update after all, so it may contain at least a Halloween surprise but I doubt it will contain the Christmas stuff

Btw mach said he believes the qabeta updates are irrelevant because they must have a new way of testing.
