Pretty much made a topic on that. They already hit the lowest possible point already. If they drip-feed a regular f*cking ruiner, I don't know how low we can possibly go.

Yeah. I can understand the lazer, since you couldnt own one previously. But dripfeeding cars you can already own, without mods or glitches, would be a new level of trolling. To me its another sign of the endtimes. R* is adding all ownable cars to the websites for the sake of completion.

 

 

I really hope they take quite a long break just to think about their game's title, "Grand Theft Auto", for the future... this was one of the things that had me slightly concerned. It's getting to be "Buy Your Auto" rather than "Grand Theft Auto".

 

Can't even put a 15k Bati 801 day one vanilla vehicle in your garage.

The current Update/drip feed has been better than the update/drip feed we got this time last year.... Last year we went from April 4th - June 12th without a new vehicle being drip feed. Heck, May 2017 was nothing but bonus week after bonus week.

That doesn't make it legitimate gambling and with card games like: poker, black jack there's luck but it's coupled with strategy also.

 

But to your original point, yes shark cards can be purchased with real currency, but then it turns to VC aka virtual currency which has zero monitary value in the real world except for shark card sales. Thus, yielding no tangible gain or loss that impacts reality, you simply input real money for an online experience.

 

So, again it's not gaming because players can't cash out for actual money.

I have not played overwatch but I'm pretty sure you can't cash out these lootboxes for real money.

Thanks for the link to the article, those 2 countries are the only ones proposing legislation against loot boxes in Europe according to the article. And the case is far from closed on loot boxes and wether or not the developers will work out a deal, or simply omit them in those 2 countries. For they are willing to discuss the topic but don't feel there are any issues with them.

 

The concern is minors spending money on the lootbox method, all there has to be is a legal age requirement to purchase Microtransactions and that would solve the problem.

Well and other countrys could follow. It would simply not be worth it for R*, because they maybe would need to remove it later on. If the link I posted is how governments react to lootboxes, just imagine how they would react to a virtuall casino inside a videogame.

I dunno the day they deleted all our RGB painted Lost Slamvans and Burritos sucked the big one. Getting them back with sh*tty LSC colours would suck but it would such less than not having them at all (slightly). I miss my Deludamol van too, man.. that was awesome

Benny's bespoke rims aren't the only thing Benny offers, he also provided proper fitment for WB cars... with him the 190Z would have looked right with arches instead of like trash.

Loved this feature in MGSV and The Division.

MGSV is free with games for gold for xbox this month - excited to try it. Never tried MGS franchise before.

Consolidation of all buisnesses sounds like a step in the right direction of polishing the game. They need a serious overhaul on pretty well everything. Will they f*ck it up? I mean, obviously.

They f*cked up an entire DLC worth of cars. My trust and expectations for GTAO are very low at this point, the skeleton crew running things don't seem to have a f*ck to be given among the lot of them.. I'm just hoping the consolidation doesn't force a bunch of new restrictions on how existing businesses work.

I suspect they're going to take the easy route when it comes to consolidation: take things like cargo warehouses and vehicle warehouses (currently CEO-exclusive), and weed farms, document forgery businesses, etc. (currently MC-exclusive), and make them universal to all (or rather, both) organisation types.

It's simple enough, because all that requires is grafting the existing structures from CEO and biker businesses on to each other's HQ properties - so for example, you'd be able to access The Open Road from your clubhouse computer, and do it all as an MC, instead of needing to do it from an office as a SecuroServ CEO.

I don't think they'll do anything more drastic than that - i.e., VIPs won't be able to buy a vehicle warehouse as a stand-alone thing - but that's the most logical, least risky way of doing it, IMO. Anything more fundamental would require a lot of new voice-over work - this way, they can just have CEOs use all the existing interactions with LJT and whatever, and do the same with bikers using Ad Hawk Autos. I doubt they'll even go as far as to have Malc do an alternative cutscene when bikers buy a vehicle warehouse - it'll probably be just the usual 'fixed camera shots of the property interior, with pop-up text boxes explaining stuff', like when you buy your first apartment.
