Thats because he's the most reliable source that came up with a direct prediction (24th). He may be wrong but its one of the most solid info we got, along with Fun's data mining.

 

That said I still have a very little tiny hope that we'll may be surprised tomorrow. Very tiny indeed. It's way more logical to expect the update to drop on the 24th I guess. I'm just being wishful.

I want the update to be on the 17th but its not that big of a deal, instead arguing it, how about whoever is wrong gets banned since y'all want to insult each other and be so toxic over unconfirmed info, I think the moderators should consider just my thoughts lol

To all the 24th and 31st buzzkills: let us loyal 17thers have our fun while we can. Tomorrow is the ultimate day for all 3 groups, and nothing is officially confirmed yet.  Personally I have nothing against 24thers and 31sters, you people have your fun. Even though I’m still #Family17th for realsies and for the memes, I’m not going to be disappointed, just a lil’ sad. And there’s a difference between disappointment and sadness. I’m going to be a little bit sad because the update might not drop tomorrow, but I won’t be disappointed because there could be discounts on bunkers, and I’m looking forwards to getting one of the bunkers on sale.

I'm expecting the update on 24th, with Info (trailer) on thursday. I feel this update gonna be big, and that (on my opinion) deserves a trailer before the update.

Why would we get a trailer on Tuseday though? If the DLC is on the 24th, they'd probably want the trailer closer to its release, on like Thursday.

I really don't know what to make of it anymore so I have decided to stop reading the internet until I find an update on my console.

If the original plan was 17th (according to the guest list) but they moved it to 24th then they should at least announce it tomorrow, right?

And just because i'm curious - do we even know when they created those files?  I mean how many days passed between "the guest list rewards file" vs "future discounts file" ?

Im thinking maybe a few days. Those files dont require downloading updates. They can be put into the game at the behest of R* and can be changed on the fly.

The discounts could truly be vouchers. (Guest list rewards)

They could say something like.

 

"Be sure to log in to claim your rewards (whatever those are), and guest list players check back next week for hefty discounts on a fleet of new vehicles"

They upload the file 2 weeks before the discounts are scheduled to happen...

 

The next week's discounts were uploaded on 10th July..
