This was a long time ago when I found 4 new freemode events in the launcher script.

Ok I see. In case anyone else is having a hard time understanding.

 

Fun found 4 new freemode events before the Bikers update.

 

Fun also found 4 biker scripts before the Bikers update.

 

He thought the scripts might be for the new events. Well, we got all 4 of the scripts with Bikers, but not the new freemode events.

 

So Fun is saying we still have 4 new freemode events coming in the future.

 

I think.

The script listed the amount of players required to launch them and the peds/vehicles/objects for them.

The recent update removed them from the launcher script and it's strange knowing the next update will introduce new events.

my opinion i think we could get 2 dlc one in may and one in june f

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We still have to get through the drip-feed for SSASSS. It's very unlikely.

I have a feeling that "business consolidation" and "battle royale mode," if they come, will be separate things. Or the latter is only a single component of the former.

 

Also a battle royale in freeroam sounds horrible to me, on PC it'd just be someone with a mod menu winning every time.

they should keep the current events and add new ones, and while they are at it, they should lower the intervals of the events to something like 5mins!

 

having a event every 30-40mins makes no sense, make that 5mins from the moment the previous event ends, it could help keep the session more active and engaged on the events, instead of going after eachother.

Some of the old ones need to go. Headshot kills, sniper, drive by, melee, land checkpoints, King of the castle, moving target. So few people bother.

I do KoTC, Land/Air Checkpoints, Sniper=/=Headshot Kills(everytime unless in a peaceful lobby) any chance I get.

 

I'd hate to see them go..although you can get KoTC with MC, Stand Your Ground, just behind a paywall..

Firstly, it's not online gambling for there's no way to generate actual wealth in reality because it's virtual and not tangible. So, that is not the reasoning because there's already ways to bet money in both GtaOnline and Red Dead's multiplayer.

 

You can still purchase the ingame money with real currency and you have no control over the outcome of the bet. When you bet on a race in gta it is dertermined by your skill if you win or loose, when you play a casino game its determined by luck (or potentially rigged machines).

That doesn't make it legitimate gambling and with card games like: poker, black jack there's luck but it's coupled with strategy also.

 

But to your original point, yes shark cards can be purchased with real currency, but then it turns to VC aka virtual currency which has zero monitary value in the real world except for shark card sales. Thus, yielding no tangible gain or loss that impacts reality, you simply input real money for an online experience.

 

So, again it's not gaming because players can't cash out for actual money.

edit: They have been declared as online gambling here in Australia but I don't think they have come up with the required laws yet. Imho even adding cash like we have with shark cards should be absolutely illegal.

So we have so far:

- consolidation of all businesses

- big update

- old unreleased freeroam events

- new freeroam event with random crates

 

Sounds to me like this dlc is based around upgrading freeroam experience.

 

I hope its something more then just freeroam events tho. Upgrade the list of NPC vehicles, change spawn colors, add random encounters, treasure hunts, collectibles, couple easter eggs, new vip missions, mansions, boats customization and we have a solid Freeroam DLC.

 

Freeroam surly needs refreshment after all those years.

Not sure to be honest. One option could be to disable lootboxes or their purchase in that country. The lootboxes themself are not the problem if I understand it correctly. The problem is that you can get them with real cash wich could lead to people (including children) gambling their (their parents) money away.

The captain obvious ways of making this game vastly better this late in the game is removing blips most of the time and adding a decent colour painting menu to LSC with all in game textures + rgb. Still waiting... I can't even believe that is not in the game when the games engine supports it perfectly well..

Edit: when you're further away it starts loading up but it becomes invisible as you get closer, the way I make invisible interiors load is by trying to trigger a ragdoll, which is what I did when I got there by jumping out of the deluxo but it killed me as you've stated, it's an interesting patch, I thought they made it so the interior doesn't load up.

Only the supposed breaches have been patched. The interior is still there, fully loaded and solid.

The glitch didn't remove the interior, it just kill anyone who's inside it and prevent the door method.

I doubt it, they didn't remove the interior and not to mention it was fixed with a background update.

Background updates are for fixing bugs and glitches.

yep yep, I've updated my post, I use one of your jobs to use the interior now, the only thing that's not solid is the chairs, so the interior is probably used for a cutscene, much like Trevor's torture room.

I really hope this means we can bring the Patriot to Bennys. If they are just adding it for purchase via the website it would be a major disappointment.
