Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 6)

We got 2x on Smugglers Run 3 weeks in the row, so i guess they won't continue to do it. Other activities are not so bad, maybe only races would be bad.

And... They can do Act III and Pacific 2x, as a "sorry, we're f*cked up, first with the not giving you this bonuses early after Act II and Humane Labs 2x, and second with the update delay from 17th to 24th, so here you go"

After recent events I just saw trying to keep up here, I declare myself as #teamwhenevertehf*ckitcomesout guessing dates with R* just doesn't work. So anyway... Double money on contact missions that would be sweet!!! I totally welcome that before the update drops July 2021 I hope it comes sooner, really want that next RDR2 weapon from the hunt..

Exactly.

They make those "Take advantage of this Shark Bonus + other discounts part of current event" posts for the whole duration of the Shark card bonus.

This time it's different, they didn't upload the one for the last week which would be July 24th - 31st

+ Regarding my hints, my source is exactly what you saw (the Guest List rewards).

I'm still thinking the 17th. Take a look at what Foxy tweeted with all the "Guest List Rewards" weeks. Looking in particular at week 3 (17th) and what you are given. Why would you login to be told that you've been given discounts for these vehicles, but aren't released for another week? Why not just get it the following week when it is released and you can use it there and then? How can the game give you discounts for something that doesn't exist? There's also a t-shirt for the 17th that currently isn't in the game. You would effectively be getting $350,000 and that's all as nothing else isn't in the game files. The liveries also fall into this pattern as well.

Then look at week 4. More liveries for vehicles that don't exist. Why would they give them early (Week 3), which you can't use, and then add more? Either release them all together on the same date with the update released on the same date, or release the update with the first set of liveries and then unlock more in the following week.

 

The "discounts" for next week, mean nothing. There's a first time with everything when it comes to Rockstar. Updates with no trailers before hand. They've been known just to drop things out of the blue.

 

TL;DR

17th July isn't ruled out completely

Changing it around wouldn't do a lot. Every from week 3 and after isn't available currently. Plus, why would they only give GTA$ for that one week, while still leaving a lot of content left?

I have no hype for any dlcs from R*, just drop the dlc and let's move on.

I thought so too. Theres a sh*t ton of rewards availible. But mach  says it can be changed to that easily

Maybe cause we almost ran out of content to speculate, and this silence of Rockstar is killing everyone, since they never did it to a big update. And also by the lots of confusion with the release date.

I doubt Rockstar would go out of their way to change something just because it was "leaked". I am not however saying it's impossible Rockstar would change it, just that it's unlikely. Of course, no one really knows what Rockstar are doing as they don't really communicate with their player base very well, or at all for that matter

Our current event week..this week..is an identical copy of an event week they did in April. The discounts for this upcoming Tuesday appear to also be an exact copy of the discounts from the Business Week back in May. This leads me to believe the x2 money will be exactly the same as well, since that's what they already did with our current event week.

To be completely honest, I don't understand the mentality of some people here. Some say the 17th, some say the 24th, yet some act like "D'uuuuh, everyfin points towards da 24rd, no chance of getin 17st!!!one!1!" 

 

Jesus Christ man. We all fancy an update which we know for sure is coming in July; I legit don't get why we've come so far into the discussion (argument, rather) about the two different dates. Some got info on the 17th, some got info on the 24th. No need to ridicule other people for their hopeful date. 

 

We can all agree that sooner is the better, though.
