I don't see double money in that tweet, which he usually mentions, and it's been quite a long time since an event week without double money as far as I can remember so maybe the 17th isn't too unlikely...

Keep in mind rockstar could also drop the dlc with all those discounts in a way to overwhlem the player with lots of sales and the new content. Sounds dumb, but possible.

They are recycling the "Business Week" they recently did.The rest of the discounts aren't on Fun's list, as they wouldn't all be on the same splash screen.

This doesn't make sense, if Fun can see the code for the upcoming event week then why did he not post it all in one tweet or in a series of tweets and if everything isn't  in the game files then why would Rock put in half an event week?

Because it's a shark card bonus that says also take usage of this other discounts that are part of the current event week and doesn't state everything that is in that event week.

On top of that in all of funs tweets about event weeks he always includes double money therefore I don't believe that there is any...

He can only see the text that will be on the splash screen for the shark card bonus. If it doesn't list everything, then he can't see everything. 

 

When he posts his normal update, showing all of the double money events and discounts, that's after the tunables have been updated.

 

Seeing some of these discounts in advance (i.e. before the tunables update) is only a recent thing, but as I said he doesn't get the whole picture, only what is actually listed in the splash screen. We'll have to wait for the tunables update for the complete picture.

You aren't understanding how they have found this information. Its the loading screen blurbs. This is what is on one of the blurbs. Rockstar may or may not have other blurbs stating all the discounts. There is nothing "in the files".

Well if it isn't "in the files" of the game wouldn't that allude that the information isn't as detrimental to the speculation of a release on the 17th because this might be all thats included in discounts?

 

Basically what I'm saying is how do we know there's more
