...So we'll finally get some good clothes, other than tryhard wannabe Merc gear? Seriously, when's the last time we've gotten quality clothing? All one has to do is go to bluenotes,topman, etc....Just go to a mall and take a look, then port the stuff in game? I don't want &*^$ like 'BIGNESS' written over my clothing.

I'm totally noob regarding Tunables, but do you think R* could dripfeed the car updates (the content in the game files)? This way we would know in the day.

dont fully understand you question but, once R* add something new to the game, being adversary modes or vehicles, once those files are in the game, its a matter of hours before people like Fun find them and post the content.
I mean.. update the game every time they release a car, so people would know the new content in the day.

E.g. a new car will be release next Tuesday, but it's not in the game files yet.not gonna happen...

 

they do the dripfeed method because, while everything gets "leaked" its cost effective.

 

pushing updates and patched for the games are not a free thing, they have to pay sony/microsoft/steam a couple dollars.

 

Imagine an update where we didn't know about the dripfeed, this thread is gonna break every Tuesday lol.

 

 

I do like how we are saying it like if they can't do anything about it, Epic Games is smaller than Rockstar Games yet they push a patch every two weeks and sometimes every week, while we have to wait for Rockstar 2-3 months for them to push a patch that breaks more than what it fixes and then say that updating the game is not free.

I don't rly care about Bahamas mamas at this point. Its just one small unused and unfinished interior from years ago.

If they ever want to use it again - its gonna be just another supply run just like Tequi-La-La or LOSTs Clubhouse, nothing special.

And IF they ever want to create clubs dlc (hopefully something like Malibu Club heist in VC?) you still wont be able to buy this particular one. They will surely make new interiors for that.

I feel like having legit access to a bunch of interiors that are already in the game would be way better than what's actually happening right now, I would love to gain access to that submarine interior, GTA has always been an exploring game for me, I remember glitching into the so called "Blue Hell" of San Andreas just so I can find all the interiors that were used in missions, but hey? that's just me though lol

Whoever's playing around with all the switches at Rockstar, could you just happen to accidentally press the one that makes bombs 10X larger, and makes helicopters last longer while smoking? Thanks.

But do you rly want bombs as strong as that? I'm all about helis lasting longer but bombs should stay the way they are or be buffed not more then lets say by... 10-30%. Or just add more of them or something.

 

My point is - better to get good with using them, make it a skill (just look what GhillieMaster can do with them) instead of turning it in to another grifing tool for tryhards and noobs. You already have an advantage with bombs since no one can shoot straight up.

 

 

I think there are more impotent things for helis then bomb buffing right now...

 

- Cooldown for spamming oppressors with MC

- buff for havok/sea sparrow weapons

- Custom versions of old vehicles like Buzzard and Anihilator, "Bennys for Pegasus", AirWolf.

- Customizable CEO vehicles. Replacing the old boring ones with something new. Manchez instead of sanchez, Havok with guns, Sea Sparrow, glider, stuff like that.

 

 

^ just couple things way more impotent then bombs imo.

I definitely want them to be much stronger. Right now, there's just no point using them over a free aimed missile. The missiles are unlimited, have pretty much the same blast (probably a lot better than that of cluster bombs actually), and they reach the ground much faster, have an aiming reticle, etc.

 

Even Ghillie - in a lot of his videos, when you see him fight an explosive sniper, he turns to using the missiles, since he can fire them from any angle (unlike bombs).

 

I just feel like if the bombs are going to be limited, and not even have some kind of reticle, then that should be for a reason - they should be powerful in my opinion. Ground dwellers get by with explosive sniper rounds because they're limited, so why shouldn't these limited bombs be strong?

 

That's all just thinking of the small planes that can get some use out of them too. Planes like the Volatol, that have to be high up - those are basically useless aside from the odd lucky drop.

 

I am just a helicopter though.

R* could do it, but looking at things from a business stand point, why add more cost by releasing a patch every week or whenever they feel like adding something to the game.

 

the dripfeed method is not pretty but sure hell its cost effective.

 

as for epic constantly patching and sh*t, well they have to try keep things fresh, i mean their game consist of 1 game mode. R* can get away with less updates because content is abundant.

I'll weigh in. I'm content with the bombs how they are on helis. I wouldn't mind if planes had a slightly (like 33%) larger blast radius. I do score hits with a ton of bombs so I can't really be upset. If I'm mad at somebody and they don't have the mkii explosive, they get the lazer.

 

What I would really like is the attack angle increased for the bombs on planes. I need to dive bomb.

^^^ those rogue explosives do blast off the ailerons and rudders, effectively crippling the target. It's pretty easy to finish the target off after a burst from the cannons. The rogue isn't my daily driver though so my feelings aren't very strong on the matter.

OR just nerf the cannons on both the Lazer and Hydra which have been the biggest bullsh*t in this game since 2013.

Just nerf the rate of fire to same rate of the Rogue and it should be good enough.

These are the disabled events in the dev tunables, the rest are still enabled.

There are 26 new variables that don't exist in the game files.

Two of them seem to be for a new vehicle.

0x896738A = 1514764800

0xEE06AF27 = true

The first one is the launch posix.

Posix Tunables always start with "launchposix_<codename>" like "launchposix_hotring" or "launchposix_tyarnt".

You can guess the codename until it match with the hash.

I can use them reasonably well in the Starling, Rogue, SeaBreeze - the small planes. Those are agile enough to get in low, without being a really easy target. The bigger ones ... Uh, not so much. Aside from a couple of lucky hits, I won't be able to use them from high up. And if you're not high up in a Volatol, then you're really not going to do anything to a competent player.

 

But like I said, even in the small planes - they don't really do anything that wouldn't be done better with a missile. Especially with helicopters. It's much easier to swing a little and send a barrage at someone than it is to bomb, and it has a pretty similar (if not better) effect. No one ever really seems to touch on that.

 

Put it this way: You're in a Bombushka. Would you rather try to swoop that giant thing down to bomb, or have the cannons do all the work?

 

The bombs look cool to use, but I find they just don't do anything that couldn't be done better with other weapons.

Those being disabled in the dev tunables mean what exactly? I just played a checkpoint challenge this morning on PS4, so obviously it doesn't reflect on FR currently. Does it mean they're planning on getting rid of those FR events in the future?

 

Happy: I could dig them being buffed on the Bushka and Volatol, I just find it unlikely to happen. Hey, stranger things have happened, you and I both know that! I do think it would be a mistake to buff bombs across the board though :/

I think those might be a bit glitchy or something. I've seen some people say they're really strong, but then other times I've had them do barely anything.

I think those might be a bit glitchy or something. I've seen some people say they're really strong, but then other times I've had them do barely anything.

There is something wonky about those cannons. I always thought it was the spread of the guns. It's like both guns don't have the same point of impact till 1000 feet so it's easy to shoot around the target though the reticle is directly on the target in a dogfight.
