Viral marketing, basically - all done with a level of 'plausible deniability' at various points higher up the chain that'd probably impress various intelligence agencies.

It usually happens on PC. Some vehicle is on discount, you already own it and try to sell it at LSC, black screen and "transaction error - catalogue error" BS. 

 

I'd wait to decide between selling or not until R* confirms that deal, that's the only sure thing for me.

I very much doubt that lol. Rockstar hardly interacts with the community, I don't think they'd go through the effort of doing that much just for a tease. Someone definitely got into the files.

I'll take another Facility garage over another Import/Export garage any day:

 

• 7 PV spaces, 5 unique vehicle spaces
• Unigue vehicles are accessible via the Mechanic
• Barrage, Deluxo, Stromberg can be stored in any PV space and aren't locked to a unique space in the Facility garage

 

Since when is five "a bunch" while seven is "only a hand full"? Besides, wouldn't adding the option to buy another regular 10 slot property just be "only a hand full of PV spaces" anyways?

That's my point: R* is 'known' for hardly interacting with the community - Yan himself stated that he's heard nothing from them this whole time, compared to other publishers (he got a "can you keep a lid on this, please?" from Square Enix, IIRC - !).

 

But that's not the same as someone on the dev team, or on their PR/social media team, making the personal decision to leak stuff to trusted contacts in the community - that's one person leaking out stuff independently, and they're in no way speaking for R* on an official basis.

 

...except (and this is my theory), what if they kinda are - ? Like I say, could well be that they've been given permission to leak just enough to tide over impatient fans, but not so much as to blow the surprise of the update when it arrives officially.

 

 

The thing is, R* is a tight ship, for the most part (Dragoon and that pillock from 4chungus notwithstanding - and IIRC, those leaks were unauthorised, and people at the very top at R* were royally pissed as a result...) - considering someone's leaked stuff to the same handful of sources time and time again, and always in a seemingly controlled manner like this (never too much, never too soon), it's beyond plausibility that these leaks are only what they let get 'leaked'.

Maybe we are getting Those 2 free because new versions Will be added in the update.

 

we now know a new enus is coming so that Will be a new  and frankly better luxurious car than the revolter. 

 

So that could mean that there Will be a new heavy armored SUV aswell. Heck maybe the patriot Will take that place. (I know it's not realy an suv,but it Will do just fine)

Also note the style he tweets. It's mostly in code until final moments.

 

Leaks are an excellent way to advertise content and gauge player reaction without the lashback if its corrected, or they have to change the release date to "soon" It also builds mystique around it and sometimes that's better than an official announcement.

The Hydra is already a classic according to the game's lore.

 

Agent 14 refers to the Hydra as "forty year old technology" in the Human Labs - EMP Setup mission.

 

 

But hey, this is the same game in which the Cheetah it's a prototype from the 70's so who knows really.

Find it insulting about them giving away a Nightshark though, everybody and their dogs own one after all those constant sales that thing's had. Guess I'll sell mine, I never used it so might as well get some money back on it.

New Enus? Could be anything from a Super Drop Diamond or the new Bentyaga with the weird headlights.

 

If the former is likely, I'm thinking they could ramp up things to 11 like they did with The Ballad of Gay Tony. This is only speculation, but I see some of the favorite cars from the previous games making a comeback, like the Sentinel and the Turismo. I also speculate Mk.II weapons like the P90, the AA-12 and the DSR-1 (Advanced Sniper), the last two with explosive rounds. This was only something I was thinking the other day.
