Yea he was legit, just read his posts. He really seemed like he had no time to mess around to... very to the point and accurate.

I have never heard anything about him getting sued or fired or anything, he just went quiet and that's about it, he showed up few minths later replying to something about a map expansion or something like that then a bit later he replied to someone who took some pictures inside Rockstar's production floor where it's forbidden to do that.

I agree, I think they are just buying time to finish the update, keeping us in the dark (as usual), not even a screenshot, they dont even know when, just it might be July, but it might not be.

If the update was not nearing completion and they were not certain on a release time frame, they would not tease the update with a trailer. More than likely they have a release date ready, but are not disclosing it as of yet. Game patches must go through verification with Microsoft and Sony before they are released. It's a 1-2 week process most of the time. It's probably already in that verification process.

Also, there is no other option that R* changed Quabeta branches. There is no way R* announces a DLC that's not even developed yet. Sony/MS verification usually starts when Quabeta stops updating, wich is 2 weeks

when does the verification process usually start, before Qabeta updates or after? Can Qabeta2 still be updated during the process?

The Black Madonna posted this yesterday, which leads me to think news is imminent.

 

Also, dont know if this was caught but the "V" on the black hat of one of the DJs from Tale of Us in the teaser is the album cover for their next album. The newswire post said we would get new nightclub themed t shirts, I wonder if these will be based on the four DJS either by their album work or names

I think for a naval dlc, if that ever happens, a large hovercraft would be awesome. Maybe that the next update in december..

With qabeta not showing any signs of life and qabeta2 and qabeta3 being updated occasionally, it's hard to say if qabeta is relevant right now. Rockstar seems to be doing something different this time. They know we use qabeta to predict release times. They may be trying to have a level of secrecy this time around. Realistically they could update qabeta within a very short time frame of an updates release to change a few scripts or whatever on their end.

My understanding is Yan gets info from a source at rockstar who just has short dialogue with him. He asks some questions which dictate the responses and info he gets. (I gather this from the podcast he did a few days ago) he may have told us all he knows. No clue about -588 but at this point, I dont actually care about that. Just trying to "speculate" off of what we do know through the different things we have (newswire posts, 4 djs social media, teaser trailer, qa beta, etc.)

We just have to wait 5-12 more days, then we see what it's all about. Im done speculating tbh, next week we probably get a real trailer and some screenshots, and the week after we get the DLC. Even if not we will get it some time in july so maybe we get it on the 31rd. I would stop speculatiing until there is some actual info from rockstar. At some point it's just ridiculous.

 

Only gonna check in every few days, to read the rockstar newswire from now on.

At this point I don't think anyone cares about the so called "hint" as it's not very realiable nor understandable without more context lol. Until we have more context, its on the back burner.

More than likely a social club overhaul set to be released with the arrival of RDR2. That's all I could think of.
