Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 6)

Maybe we could get some new screens or possibly another trailer on Thursday? It would at least give us something to talk about.

Since we have confirmation of the Pounder Custom and the Swinger we could get some screens of those.

I'll admit that sometimes a good amount of secrecy can be fun... but not if you go 4 months since the last update with almost no news at all, and that last update was absolutely flawed from the ground up. I like SSASSS, but f*ck me...

This seems extremely unorganized, not having a summer DLC is a big hit on the playerbase (and Sharkcard sales).

They could release those 2 screens of the vehicles with 1 of the nightclubs in the background and leave everything else for the trailer. Its not a lot but its something to make the wait a bit more bearable. I'm sure the hype would be through the roof if the Swinger is confirmed to be a E Type.

That's literally all I need, the screens and e type confirmation. At this point we may go all the way to page 6000 just talking about the lack of information and what they could release to build hype, ha...smh

Had there been any instances where bonuses were still happening when an update dropped? Something tells me that there were instances like that, but I’m not quite sure.

So ive looked up what "soon" actually means for R*

 

FAFF "Coming soon" took 29 days

Bikers "Coming soon" took 16 days

Transform races "Coming soon" took 11 days

 

Nightclubs "Coming soon" 25 june posted... So its anyones guess allthough id rule out the 31th by this.

I went to a tarot reader for advice and she said the next update will come out no sooner than the 17th. And she screamed in horror as she opened up the "Ten of Swords" card which signifies that the current version of the foul beast called The Jester Classic will be unleashed unto Babylon on the 10th. Oh no..... heaven help us all

Well I've lost my motivation to grind. Rockstar can't even release more info or a trailer? I feel like I'm going to have made all this money and it ends up being a sh*t update. 

My worries about this dlc: 

 

1. We don't even get to own the nightclubs we originally wanted.

 

2. The only new thing about the update ends up being JUST THE NIGHTCLUBS and some plain vehicles. 

 

3. Well combining businesses makes it sound like we all wasted our money on all those businesses they're putting in one.

 

4. It being the last update.

Yeah, the APC was butchered completely..... I'm just thankful they didn't make the PV Tank even more sh*t by requiring a passenger to use the cannon, it already has sh*ttier armor than a f*cking Nightshark..... I don't get why all the NEW ground vehicles beyond the ones with homing missiles require multiple players. Really makes them of no use to us lone wolfers

 

Like I'd happily shell out another million or two for a TBOGT version of the APC where I don't need friends to use it while moving!

 

And shouldn't you be happy about that aircraft part? It'd have been a Pegasus vehicle.... which R* seemed to have put behind them. Makes you wonder if we'll get a big area for the bigger ground toys later.... maybe this very update depending on the Pounder's size?

I'm still not sure about exactly how the new Nightclubs will generate cash for the owners. Is it based on attracting NPC's or can players go inside and contribute to your revenue? Nothing in the trailer seems to stand out and explain this, nor have we seen any vehicles being shown off in the trailer.

 

Does anyone have any theories about how the new Nightclubs will work?

Passive income like biker and bunker businesses. And the nightclub acts as a central hub for all of our illegal businesses as well.. that's my best guess

I'm hoping it's basically exactly like how Tommy and CJ gained revenue for their businesses. You just go to the club to collect it over time.
