Would there be a lead up to $350,000? Ending before the DLC drops?

 

July 10th to 16th 100k

July 17th to 23rd 250k

July 24th to 30th 350k

July 31st DLC drops?

 

I hope not but my guess of what the weekly money could be

nothing. gta is at its last chapter.  100k online players on steam right now which is alot for a normal tuesday. steam sale is the reason and china ofc...

said it yesterday aswell but i don't care about the clubs anymore. to much time has passed that they wasted instead of adding clubs way sooner.

 

i'm all about the vehicles now. and tbh the chance that they f*ck up the cars is higher then them f*cking up the clubs which is a horrible thought.

Or they're literally just doing the amounts listed in the Newswire (because that's the bare minimum) - and normally they need to dedicate a week to making sure everyone gets the money, so something more like this:

 

10th-16th: $100k login period

17th-23rd: $100k dished out

24th-30th: $350k login period

31st-6th: $350k dished out

 

Since again, R* never patches the game while they're in the process of handing out cash bonuses (probably because that'd interfere with the process, and result in a lot of angry players not getting their free money), that'd rule out an update release on either the 17th or 31st.

Log in during a certain time period to join the Guest List, log in again just to claim the rewards, log in again to claim more rewards...

 

The f*ck is the point of the Guest List if you have to log in every week anyway just to claim the rewards? Just make the rewards available for everyone as long as they log in once during each week

 

But no.... let's shove the Guest List rewards into everyone who didn't log in to GTAO during the last week of June's faces and do that for the entire month of July knowing they can't attain it but still making it a requirement for eligible players to log in every week to actually reap the rewards....

By that logic I could make it to the Guest List but still not get any of the rewards if I don't log in during any of the subsequent weeks....

 

which essentially makes that limited period login between June 25th and July 2nd kind of f*cking useless. If you make it to the Guest List, you should reap all the rewards regardless of whether you log in during the rest of the month or not. Obviously you'd have to log in at the end to receive it though.

 

Alll this screams is a desire to maintain their player count knowing it's at stake this month. The rewards are just there so there's at least somewhat of an incentive even if it's the tiniest f*cking bit of it to log in every week.

Cause every couple of months they have to show stats to people on top. They need to prove that they have "X amount of active players"

They could have done a normal money giveaway every week for two/three weeks but no let's add a fancy touch to it and make it available to only those who logged in during the last week of June but still make it necessary for them to log in every following week or else they don't get the rewards even though they f*cking qualified for The Guest List. 

 

Just make it a simple case of logging in every week and you get the rewards, not some time limited login to even qualify in the first place and then finding out you still have to login every other week or else you don't get anything. It's just a huge mess.

i have a feeling that the new "warehouses" are going to be a paywall to get access to the nightclubs or vice versa. wouldn't surprise me at all

this is the perfect example why rockstar's silent treatment doesn't work the way they want it to.

 

yes we are talking about the update but it's not running the hype train anymore. it's just an extra topic to talk about at this point.

 

give us some info,have a roadmap for the future to let us know what to expect and you will have us hyped again,resulting in more players.

 

giving us ugly (imo) cybersuits and a small amount of cash doesn't hype us anymore. 

 

now i have the mentality of "whatever,i will see how much the stuff costs on release day" because  i don't know what to expect. if i do know then i will be more inclined to play the game. 

 

they realy need to let their ego go down a bit and communicate with the fans again. remember the last time they did a Q&A?

I'm not saying they don't and I don't mind these bonuses. It's the Guest List bullsh*t that annoys me knowing you have to log in anyway every week so what's the point of making it sound fancy and exclusive to only those who logged during a specific week?

 

It's just unnecessary and foolish.
