Well, no qabeta and the Guest List is extended to 16th. If the qabeta will update this week, maybe 17th is possible, but I doubt it.

It's really soon to make guesses in 10th, 17th or 24th yet. I mean, i dont feel R* would pass week after week after week, just for a wireframe suit.

They said they would give away different amounts of money during the month, if thats the case, they wouldnt release anything until they end with the giveaways.

My bet is on the 17th as the latest, they give money away and the Ocelot Swinger exclusive decals with the update, and next week the discounts on the Pounder Custom. Thats my idea of how it can be done.

actually those lines are real textures...

but most of the lines actually match the polygons except for a few.

I think there's a heavy chance we'll get an announcement/trailer on Thursday/Friday

 

Wether or not the release date is the 10th is still up in the air, but the cries of 'but the qbeta! doesn't mean sh*t. I highly doubt we're gonna see it update and have to wait another 2 weeks, there's no way they would cut it THIS close and say 'coming this July..'

Rockstar said "more RDR2 info in the summer of 2017"

Rockstar kept the silence going throughout the summer, all the way until September 28th, then they released something about rdr2.

 

if they did something like this, it wouldn't be a first for them.

Edit: Everything that adds up, seems logical or generally points in a specific direction is just off my list honestly. Every speculation here makes sense, but when talking about R*, that almost entirely negates a theory—however sensible.

Hmm - see, they already mentioned there was going to be a Guest List with a free $100k giveaway...

 

Wonder if the $350k one will happen before or after the update - after all, some of the already-known Guest List unlockables/discounts include stuff coming with the update itself (nightclub-themed t-shirts, decals for the Ocelot Swinger and other vehicles, discounts on the Pounder Custom and other vehicles, etc.)

 

 

Re-reading the Newswire posts, I'm not entirely convinced that the 10th is off the table - they're doing more 'log in to get _____' stuff, but that was already going to happen anyway throughout the month. And if the 10th-16th week is the 'log in to be eligible for the money' week, then that'd rule out the 17th (since that'd be when the $100k would start getting dished out), but not the 10th.

 

Also, they're not extending the Guest List sign-up period from last week - this is the start of the Guest List perks proper, which (again) were always going to happen either concurrently with or consecutively after the update release. All that's changed is that they've gone straight into the perks after the sign-up week, and before the update itself - but it's impossible for them to get through the entire perk list before the update comes out, because again, can't have discounts on things that aren't in the game yet!

While this is indeed true I have a feeling that the Pounder Custom will be a day one vehicle and that players on the guest list will get the discounted price upon release.

 

I don't know how that would or even could work though.
