Deluxos are so prevalent I don't see it making much difference.

Nope. Its impossible. They can't send global messeges... this thing is legit. I was in a very small lobby (not even freeroam) and got it as well. Also it started popping out after midnight, Rockstar probably set it to appear for the whole day, as they make announcment later.

Gods knows how many times I've called a PV, don't get it.... but the cool down started. I always seem to get killed the moment I call a PV

Is that fake enough for you? Just compare them:
- 6 instead of VI
- How can you pre order something that wasn't even announced yet? 
- Different messages

That means someone found a way to hack R* message system. They can now send those to random players. It can be anything they want
 "GTA IV 2019" / "Pre order gta 6 now!" / "Your mother looks like Trevor" / "You been banned from gtaonline"

This only proves how bad R* security is.

Well to reply on the 5mil grind, personally ive made 24million in 6 days. And thats not even full grind mode, ive sold Coke/Meth/Counterfeit and Weed each day and did 2 large warehouses this week. Along with some bunker sales.

 

I got bored of crates so ive stopped after Friday when I sold em so I guess 6-7mil a day is possible, maybe even more with friends helping.

Assuming this whole GTA VI thing isn't just some weird modder thing, it isn't such a stretch of the imagination that some irked employee at Rockstar put them in rotation. It's bonkers to think that any kind of announcement (much more a tiny, easily-missed pop-up in Online) for the next GTA would come before the next (already announced!) Red Dead is released, and a 2019 release is outrageous. Does nobody remember the huge, long hype train between V's first teasers and the release? With the attitude of some of the in-the-know, potentially former employee leakers, it would not surprise me at all if this is some intraoffice shenanigans. Pray for those poor folks inhabiting the GTA Next subforum, at any rate.

 

Beyond that, does anybody around here get the idea that this Tuesday's newswire post will be a neat little information drop regarding the upcoming update? I would so hope they don't just leave it with the return of Independence Day content, as it's a perfect opportunity to give a heavier dose of what folks around the community crave. Going further (and ever more dream-like), if the update outright drops this Tuesday, I wouldn't expect the Independence Day content to return, since a few of the items were already available for Memorial Day... But this is just dreaming.

IDK what I'd rather. DLC release tuesday, but we never get 4th of July ever again, or a 10-17th release, and 4th July as normal. I NEED. The Red Circle.

20-30 slots would be more fitting for me. Enough to get what I currently want aswell as some open space for the future.

With however many new vehicles are coming combined with vehicles I want but have never owned and vehicles I've sold but would buy back I could probably fill another 60 car garage.

 

R* take my money, please, I'd rather have more cars and a smaller bank balance.

Quick question, for who has received the message, are you playing on ps4 or xbox one? If not, than it is mostly modders since they can force items and messages into sessions, even after having left it. If it was real rockstar would have told so or hinted at it. 

 

More relevant: last week if i am correct we received information about the dlc on monday. I suspect that we get the same this week too, but more content information. Also, it looks like rockstar has started using more days of the week instead of just only tuesday. Now they do weekend bonuses and release information on mondays too. Even the event week ends on monday instead of tuesday like they used to say.

Yep they can, global announcements aren't server dependant.. global you know.

They've done it before with warning whole servers they've been banned etc.. it's fake news.

Please, Rockstar, you need to give associates more money, because right now CEO associate is a voluntary slave. I won't even argue if i'd need to share the profit with them.

This is a cruddy announcement if it is a thing. No fanfare at E3 that was less than a month ago?

No newswire announcement?

No social media announcement?

Most reputable places have adjusted their policies to not allowing preorders until it has a definite release date.
