Some new drug businesses for the MC would be nice. Party drugs like Ecstasy and Speed, well and not really a partydrug Heroin. :D

 

Maybe deliver it to the Club and sell it there for real passive income. It would be so nice to never have to sell the mc stuff in Boxvilles etc.

Hmm - we've actually had missions with every full-size update since Import/Export, with the exception of Smuggler's Run (which felt like R* rushed it out sooner than originally planned, hence why they just made the trade prices unlockable via deliveries, not missions):

 

Import/Export: Special Vehicle Missions

Gunrunning: Mobile Operations

Doomsday Heist: DDH Setups/Finales (obviously! :pp)

 

Even SSASSS - we've just had Madrazo's Dispatch Missions.

 

Considering this is a bigger update, and R*'s clearly pulling out all the stops, I wouldn't be surprised if we got another eight or so missions, similar to things like Lowriders, Gunrunning, etc., yeah.

I think it was just harder to make full scale missions revolving around singular aircraft without feeling too similar. It's not like GR or I/E SV missions where every vehicle was different and had it's own unique thing.

 

Smugglers did feel a bit lazy and rushed though.... it was like Crates only not as profitable and more dragged out. They even reused the same assets for the supplies instead of making new product to smuggle!

 

It'd be cool to actually see missions hosted by Yusuf or Tony though, get some hints on what they've been up to since 2008 and whatever happened to Luis(Hopefully dead) and Tony/Yusuf whichever isn't hosting the clubs..... please be Yusuf Amir.... he's hilarious af! I'll only accept Naval Business with Bogdan as our contact as compensation for my disappointment if Yusuf doesn't return.

we have speed, meth is speed...  and we have E, MDMA, or Molly, not really E but better...

This is just wrong, Meth isn't Speed you can't smoke Speed, but you can smoke Meth. Cocaine and Crack also isn't the same even tho it's both based on the same plant. And Heroin and Opium also isn't the same even tho, it's both based on Poppy (Flowers).

@Mexicola9302, Though this is an odd place to discuss it, speed is a term for methamphetamine and other amphetamines. Crack cocaine is a form of cocaine, where "cocaine" is more of a family of subtypes. Heroin is an opioid, similar to morphine and opium in obvious ways for their usual shared base, the opium poppy. The more you know.

^Both of you are right, semantics. Willy is just more accurate. Its a different form of the same drug. 

But it would be still the same thing - crate runs. Name changes nothing. Missions are shared, right?

Okay, did a bit more detective work (because I'm bored... :p), and I wanted to work out whether the day-glo top in the trailer was an existing asset.

 

Thing is, it is an existing asset - just ...not quite what I thought. The character is wearing one of the Gunrunning torn tank tops - not a new one, just one of the existing, non-luminous ones:

...which means they're not wearing a glowing top/mask - that's luminous face/body paint. Now that's new...!

Looks like R* is falsely advertising their extra 50% bonus on Bunker stuff as being x2.

Am i the only one that doesn't give two sh*ts about businesses? I just want a club where i can just go and dance/have fun with friends or randoms and not worry about running low on drinks or some sh*t like that. I also hope that they don't add another phone call to the game. I receive more phone calls in the game than in real life lol.

The way the newswire post allures to the "underground dance club scene" makes me believe even more that the clubs could work like Han's did in Tokyo Drift.

Something tells me this consolidation will mostly benefit Rockstar on the long run. We all get the convenience of doing everything from one spot, yeah, but then we will have the $9,400 bunker expense, plus the ~$8,000 each from every biker business we own, ending with the enormous expense of running the club (staff, utilities, etc). I bet someone at Rockstar thought it would be a great idea to add the consolidation to the nightclub so our expenses would be astronomical.

 

With all those consolidated expenses, how much will we profit out of this? Will the profit from the other businesses cover the losses? How big will the losses be?

 

It's not a coincidence all those biker businesses are 50% off this week.

My bad, should have explained it better. :lol:

 

Basically, the entrance was through a plain-looking building much like the warehouses and other businesses we purchase in-game. The immediate main area after the entrance had the normal nightclub amenities with people dancing. Han would take Sean through the customers and enter this VIP area that had living quarters, a workshop and garage for cars as well as minigames. This in particular would make the perfect excuse for this update to be also tuner-centred.

 

I believe the clubs we get to purchase could work like this one did, considering Rockstar likes to pay homage to the FF franchise. The general mechanics for the clubs can be guessed from what has happened in the past with other businesses in the GTA games.

Ah right I remember that part now. Our first glimpse of the red Evo was in that scene too lol

 Wouldnt it be nice to deliver sale vehicles to the night club.  Then let the night club distribute the "goods" out the back door.  As a front of some kind, we get messages saying we need guns or weed or illegal art or whatever.

@Killer Whale I've also got a feeling that this update will significantly bump up our daily fees. 

 

Not just whatever will be charged for owning the nightclub, but I'm thinking to get the most out of it all other businesses will have to be running.

I Wonder if nightclubs gonna have an passive income like how much players buyed an drink or how much people payed fee for entering the club these things can be nice
