Eh, I’ve always considered the driving in GTA to be somewhat strange or clunky. It’s no Forza but it’s not too bad either.

True, GTA games are really Driving Games, the Cars along with everything else, are a parody.  

Which is why I hated GTA 4, the Cars drove like crap to me.

Cars and driving have always been intrinsic to GTA. It's just not a realistic car game, the makes and models are fake and the physics are arcade-y for the sake of fun.

Also.. people saying gta is a car game.. jesus, it has cars because real life has cars and gta is a satire of real life, plus an open world crime simulator. THAT is what gta is.. everything else, INCLUDING vehicles are secondary.. but of course you can make your PERSONAL taste, to be a car collector/fanatic.. but that doesn't make it the MAIN focus of gta.. not by any chance. That game focused on cars, already exists, it's called forza horizon, set in an open world environment.. among others of course.. some even with multi disciplines, like the crew 2.

I hope so. He was the only character in GTA IV who felt like a true over the top GTA character.

See, the thing is, Gta cars are detailed in better ways than other racing games. Like, walking around the car, seeing the underside, opening the doors, going off road, modifying it, etc.

As far as I know, the only "leaks" are from the Rockstar newswire post, the one about joining the "guest list".

inb4, The pounder custom is going to be like a party bus and you will need to deliver guests, VIPs, and/or DJs to the nightclub. I think it will operate like MOC/Avenger and while driving people can be in the back partying. "Highly custom" alludes to the different themes/lights/features of it. I also believe, from reading over and over again the news we got, that we will have the club (warehouse/blue icon entrance/random spots) and another property to purchase. I would love to finally get a beach front property but I doubt this. It would be something to store vehicles. I'm with team July 10th for release, although QAbeta is playing out interestingly right now with a drop date. I'm also thinking no new radio station now that we saw the 4 real life dj's in the game. (Black Madonna was a dead give away). Music will be just for the clubs. Bahama mama's though.... what of this location? nothing at all, property you can buy, open to free roam? thats interesting.

Has anyone thought that the Pounder custom will work something along lines of single player, in regards to a business angle? As in destroy one brand to boost another in the stock market...

Would kind of suck if destroying other players shipments boosted your business.

If the Swinger is an E-Type, then that will be great, because I know some people really wanted that car. It wouldn't surprise me if it looked more like the Eagle Speedster, but either way. And a Pounder Custom? We're getting a customizable delivery truck... not bad, but I hope more customizable semi trucks aren't too far behind.

In the comparison of usual teasers, this one got a lot of information. Gay Tony & Louis on the background, DJs, and now we know that we're gonna have clubs in warehouse buildings. Teasers usually don't give any info at all, they're just for... teasing

On the topic of the teaser, it's certainly not a piece of action-oriented madness like much of the previous update trailers have been. It's also a lot more... abstract than something like the Executives and Other Criminals trailer, so it is understandable that it's not the hype-builder that some of the previous releases have been. No reason not to be excited for a new update, though, unless you're too tired of the game in general. This is shaping up to be a big thing! But no reason to drag oneself through it if the game isn't fun.

 

And for all the giggles about the flashing lights featured in the teaser causing seizures, folks who suffer from light-induced seizures really shouldn't be playing a video game that prominently features flashing as-is.
