I hope for return of Benny's style customization. But not a return of Benny's prices.

Agree, if Benny's not coming back, at least give Benny's level of customization to all new vehicles.

I mean being able to change seats, steering wheels, engine parts, roll cages, dashboards, things like that.

It's annoying not being able to put some racing seats on my 190z and having a roll cage, racing seats, racing steering wheel and carbon dashboard only with one customization option in the Issi Classic with no rally lights.

If Benny is retired, I think we know why. Rockstar doesn't like him anymore after the whole Elegy Retro thing.

 

It should have been an R34 GT-R.

 

 

they can't make it an exact replica of one model, they always mix cars, the Retro is actually one of the best mixes tho since they used only Skylines , they mixed R32, R33, and R34

I feel indebted to Rockstar b/c for $120 dollars (60 for PS3, bought again for PS4) I have played a game probably averaging about to about 3-4x's a week for YEARS now and not gotten tired of the game. That's the most mileage I've ever gotten out of a game by FAR.

Blah blah grinding, blah blah shark cards, blah blah broken stuff, blah. Yes, it's not perfect but again the fact that I've played this game for like 5 years straight or however long it's been out is a testament to how great of a game they put out and how the DLC has prolonged it.

 

So the point I'm getting at isn't to kiss their ass, it's to say that quite literally everything I've wanted in the game I've gotten....with one exception. The ocean is SO underutilized. I wish they'd put more out there. A big ass oil rig, some more ships like a few circling ships that circle the map like the train does.......the aircraft carrier.....hover crafts, more boats like a PT torpedo boat and SAMs on it to keep jets away....a stand up jet ski....and yes I think it would be awesome if you could surf.

For the last time they could just make it so the new cars cost less to upgrade than the Elegy Retro and it wouldn't cause any "problems" that isn't already there...

It's the sell price of the vehicles that is the problem, not Benny's himself..

Doesn't really matter what method you use to dupe, the Elegy Retro is still the most profitable car to dupe

The deluxo will be more profitable with a buy everything for free glitch.

It's not the buy value of the car that determines how much you get when you sell a dupe, it's the upgrade costs like turning a Elegy in to a Elegy custom and also engine upgrades, brakes, spoiler, etc etc. Pretty much all parts and upgrades.

The reason Benny's cars is so profitable to dupe is because they have a lot of customization options.

A long time there was a street car dupe but that would only get you + - $200k iirc, because you could only apply LSC parts.

I'm not very good at explaining this things and especially not in English but I hope it is a little understandable

I think that desk/chair at the police station will be the equivalent to the Office desk, Biker desk, etc.

by his logic, the director mode and maybe storymode as a whole should be removed as well, those two lead to frozen money glitches.

I don't believe for a minute that there are no more Benny's cars because of duping.

Just look at the cars released in the past month and the upcoming supra, Broken and minimal customizations. Rockstar are more focused on RDR2 or they have just become lazy!

I really hope we get some kind of Law Enforcement update. I hate to be a crook, always did. However, it is not like GTA gave us an option in previous games but I could see it as possibility in future games.

 

Things I would like to see in dlc:

 

Missions-chasing speeding cars on the highway, busting car teft crew,going after bank robbers, raiding criminal safehouses, providing additional security and escort to politicians, chasing pickpockets on foot on Santa Monica pier, investigating series of brutal and mysterious murders around Blain County, protecting Vinewood actress from stalker/rapist ( Bodyguard anyone? )

 

Vehicles- all current police cars including those from single player as standard and unmarked vehicles ( Ford Taurus, Crown Vic, Dodge Charger), plus some of the 60s and 70s cars such as Dodge Polara 44 or Plymouth Satellite for the 60s/70s and Chevy Impala and Ford LTD for 80s. Also, SUVs and trucks such as Dodge RAM or Ford Bronco concept would be great since we already have them in the game. And yeah, don't forget about police motorcycle. Oh yeah.

 

Weapons- for modern times Glock 23 .40S&W as a standard issued weapon, Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm as an option. Other weapons would include classic Colt 1911 in 45 ACP Colt Cobra .38 special revolver, Colt Python 6 inch 357 Magnum in nickel or blued finish, classic Smith and Wesson model 586 4 inch 357 Magnum, blued. Also Remington 870 classic 12 gauge shotgun, some kind of hunting ( lever or bolt action) rifle as well as Walther PPK .32 ACP would be much appreciated.

 

Outfits- standard LS officer uniform, motorcycle cop uniform, detective option which will include police badge we can place on out belt or around our neck between different outfits, Blain County uniforms for police officer and motorcycle and sheriff's uniform with cowboy hat.

 

Special tribute to Dirty Harry movie would include: 2 outfits from original movie ( one brown the other with the red vest), special haircut like the one Clint Eastwood had in Dirty Harry, Ford Galaxie 500 vehicle and most importantly, Smith and Wesson model 29 .44 Magnum. Blued with wooden grips and 6.5 inch barrel.

 

So, Rockstar, if you are reading this and you decide to skip on Dirty Harry tribute, I am done with you. Seriously.

I still struggle to understand why anyone believes this. Benny's is dead because Rockstar moves on from everything. They know we have short attention spans and adding another round of lowriders would not get people interested. Dupe glitches are NOT the reason - people who know what they're doing only ever dupe one specific Benny's car anyway. Adding more of them changes absolutely nothing unless the upgrades cost more than the Elegy Retro Custom.

The only thing that could bring Benny truely back is Tuners. And seeing that the next update may possibly revolve around Law Enforcement (which fits into the whole street racing scene), it just might.

 

The Vespucci Job has a Vehicle Class option in the lobby which leads me to believe, future vehicles (more powerful ones to be precise) may get added. So how does a Police Cruiser keep up with a Flash GT? Engine modifications and throw it into Sports class, and theres your PV Law Enforcement vehicle. Just a theory.

Was in a pc lobby with him yesterday. His gta existence is a sad one. The whole lobby piped up with insults and taunts. Almost felt bad for him... Almost.

I think Lowriders story (thus Benny's workshop) takes place after the main story.

For example the 1st batch would be a fixed Jester Classic, ZR-350 Custom, Savanna Custom, Emperor Custom, Dukes Custom and Uranus Custom. It would be more successful if the update aimed towards all types of cars instead of like the 1st lowrider update, something for everybody.
