Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 6)

I know this is more of wishful thinking but for the GTAIV vehicles I want to see, I hope R* class them into these classes for racing. I still don't understand why R* didn't make two classes, one for vehicle type (classic vehicle/ super car vehicle/muscle vehicle) and then another class for racing which we could select for vehicles in lsc based on their performance, for example 100K for each time we want to select a racing class for that specific vehicle such as if i wanted to put the pariah in supers i could do so at lsc for a cost of 100k? do you guys understand?

I've seen the post saying that "people are complaining about something that hasn't been announced yet"  sure that's true, but if you think about it, it wouldn't even matter if Yan said it's about Nightclubs or not, we were expecting the so called Big June update, it wasn't announced yes but we were expecting something after the filler update of march, if Yan didn't mention anything, we'd be waiting for qabeta updates and announces and all that, some even said that they were expecting it sooner than the 12th.

Anyways, it's gonna be a long wait, but we had long periods of nothing between updates before, this is nothing new.

I guess another question now about the next update is that if the night clubs update is supposedly being combined with something else, then what is that other update that it's being combined with?

Too bad its possibly delayed, especially cause I'm part of the group that's not very excited for nightclubs anyway. But honestly I'm feeling burnt out from GTAO in general anyway so a little break would probably make coming back to a new (and hopefully big) DLC that much better.

Most probably the big consolidation Update he talked about.

That would be pretty cool to be honest.

Also makes sense to release it right away with the new Business type that would come with Night Clubs.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that for some reason. That makes sense. And I wouldn't be surprised if this entire thing gets drip-fed till November or December. Oh, how fun that would be...

Oh I personally honestly don't care about the dripfeed.

I just hope that the big consolidation Update is something that really turns around how Free Mode works, and breathes some new life into this game.

Honestly thinking some 70s and 80s classics with some 90s and naughties tuner to go with the club scene.  

Watch them release it with the name "The GTA Online Midnight Club Update".

I have no idea what they will call the night clubs update, but "Midnight Club" is definitely plausible. Vehicle-wise, I just hope they keep up with the recent trend of having more than just supers and luxury cars, that's all.

"Midnight ClubS" sounds the most plausible given their flatout reuse of the name Smugglers Run.

They really just need to introduce a better inventory system that allows for unlimited car storage and have it available in all garages, would save hours of moving cars around for us collectors... think the office garages ability to swap cars between levels but accessible from all garages and with infinite or at least 1000+ slots. A guy can dream, eh?

I.e., "wow, people really like the idea of an update with versatile cosmetic items, varied, interesting vehicles, affordable prices, and a change from gimmick races and expensive weaponised kit - so let's just abandon that, take any finished INAH2 cars, and shove them into what is basically Gunrunning 2, but with some half-decent missions".

I mean, that's probably not going to happen - they've already teased the DJs, so I'm guessing that they're committed to doing something with the concept (more than just another new radio station). But yeah, it'd be a terribad move to can or water down what feels like the update a lot of players have been wanting for ages, in favour of something ...not that.

(still hoping that this is the update that puts the 'night club' in 'Midnight Club' - if they're really going for a 'two updates in one' thing, those aren't a bad fit, and I certainly wouldn't complain about having both at once! )

Yeah Rockstar already did "Midnight Club: LA" as one of their racing games featuring tuners and some requested vehicles so I could see that name being used again easily.

In fact they could probably include all the vehicles from the list that aren't in GTA yet, I don't think anyone would complain.

I'd definitely like more vehicle storage but after having done a few heists again recently, can you imagine scrolling left or right to choose between over 500 vehicles?  That list is a mess though, really does need to be a better way of choosing vehicles.
