No they confirmed that theres a "slew of new vehicles" coming with 7 transform races on 29th May waayyy back when the first newswire article was posted. See below for quote;

What does it say cause I am having trouble pulling up the link

I'm really hoping for some more classics with this update. A Jaguar XKE (E-Type), a stock air-cooled Porsche 911 or 356, and maybe a pre-war racer like a Bugatti Type 35 or Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza.

 

How there aren't more classic European sports car in this game is beyond me, especially of the convertible variance. (Alfa Romeo Spider, MG, Triumph, Fiat 124 anyone?)

Some additional luxury cars would be a nice addition as well. Cars are the only thing keeping me on GTA Online these days.

It says they're featuring new and classic vehicles. New probably refers to cars from this update, since they haven't been featured in any of the TR ofcourse.

The strAdvancedFlags can be turned off mid-game without having to edit the handling.meta file.

 

Furthermore, this knowledge pointed out to me that the Viseris actually does have the same handling flags - marked as a "1" instead of an "F" as it is for the new SSASS vehicles (where the F basically means a 1 anyway). Now interestingly, turning off the advanced flags in the new cars saves for as long as you're on the game - you can enter garages, let the car get destroyed etc, and the flags will remain disabled.

 

Do the same with the Viseris and the flags will constantly be reapplied. I've seen it happening as I leave a garage, enter a garage and when I get a new car from Mors. That pretty much means that the Viseris is being nerfed by something controlled by the server. So even if the handling.meta file doesn't have the information that the new SSASS cars have in it (the adanced flags, limiting its performance) they can seemingly be applied or disabled on the server.

 

That puts some doubt in my mind as to whether or not these flags will be removed (from all the vehicles) or whether the current flags will be tweaked but left there, as a way of being able to nerf (or buff) vehicles on-the-fly via the server. Not sure what to think of that really

I think R* is saying the new Transform races will include old vehicles in the races, like the Havok and the Mallard, and then vehicles that weren't in the previously added races, probably like the SSASSS cars. That doesn't really indicate whether the last batch of cars for this DLC will be released on the 29th or not.

That doesn't confirm new vehicles for May 29th. That's just saying the new Transform races will feature vehicles that are new to the transform races.

I'd bet on the handling flags being left on but tweaked to make the cars perform a little better in the hopes that players will shut up about it.

All you're gonna do is whine about how sh*te the Jester Classic actually is when it drops, because of how genuinely terrible it actually is. There are literally pieces missing from the base model, buggy textures and minimal modifications for it, none of which actually seem like type people would want for this type of vehicle and NO liveries whatsoever. So when somebody tries to give you a bit of friendly advice about not getting your hopes up only to have them crushed when reality smacks you across the face, maybe be a bit more polite next time.

 

I don't even like JDM sh*t, but this sort of practice by R* shouldn't be tolerated, this has got to be the laziest vehicle addition to Online so far.

Yup. As someone who considers the 4th-gen Supra to be one of the finest car designs ever, the only thing killing my vibe right now is the fact that the Jester "Classic" exists...

 

The A80 was/is my equivalent to the Dominator Classic, as the one car I wanted done well in GTAO - and it's frustrating that R* put this trainwreck into the game at the same time as the Ellie, which most Mustang enthusiasts around here are pretty happy with.

 

 

I just hope there's at least one '90s JDM icon in this next update - and that the cack-handed person(s) responsible for the Jester "Classic" didn't have anything to do with it this time.
