I'd much prefer Yusuf Amir though, Martin would be in pussy mode now that SP happened and Trevor bit off his ear. He wasn't the same after the Patricia incident

Does the classic firetruck method for Bahama Mama's still Work? It would be nice to get inside and have the interior fully rendered without first person view. (Getting inside with a deluxo and interacting with the tables to make it fully render causes instant death :p)

 

Either way, it's about time they finally found something to do with such a detailed throwback to gta iv.

They could take a leaf out of forzas book and let us use groove music in the clubs for our own choice of music.

 

I'd have one jungle/dnb, one grime and (proper) dubstep, one breakcore and one with more downbeat stuff like boards of Canada etc!

Sometimes I want Yusuf, sometimes I don't Why wouldn't I want him?

I'm 95% sure they're only active at night (hence the name NIGHTClub). People won't be able to farm them if thats the case. Also if that is the case, players will have only around 15/16 real-life minutes to get stuff done.

 

Or, collections are done during the daytime and then supplies are used at night. The club stops generating money when the supplies have depleted.

no...they won't do that to us...they will allow the nightclubs to be open...but they probably won't be open until you either become CEO or Biker President

I am not sure what direction the next DLC will be but all I know is as a day one player and rank 594 (need to get to 600 soon) I am bored now. Not touched the game this week apart from a car meet as had no interest in MC or other stuff. I am not even sure I can stomach double $/RP on IE if we do get this tomorrow as the sourcing cars and selling also bores me now. All I know is that if it is IE then that should mean an expensive DLC as after MC, bunker, Air freight and CMs R* have (if you had time to grind) literally thrown money making opportunities at us.

 

I am not rich, I am sitting on $72m and I always try and stay above around $35m for a DLC - I never buy straight away with a DLC as I do location research if a new business and don't jump in and buy vehicles either. I would guess I spend about $15m straight off on any DLC and take it from there.

 

From a personal POV I would like naval as not much focus on the sea apart from the yacht and a few missions and clubs do interest me as long as they let you actually DO SOMETHING with them like run a business or something like protection or maybe even prostitution lol. Mansions would be good if they incorporate say games room, cinema, pool table, hosting pool parties haha - I don't know, not even fussed about big money making opportunities I just want something new and fresh.

Then that defeats the object of it being called a nightclub.

 

remember it's R*....and I have seen Nightclubs open during the day before

 

just a heads up....keep an eye on qabeta for the next week....I got a feeling it should start updating soon (not leaking....just a gut feeling)

Not had a chance to keep up to date with this thread but do we have any potential info on a likely date for a DLC? I know we still have new races and cars for this DLC so are we looking at mid/end June?

I think this will be passive income form of business, but will operate differently than everything we have seen so far.

 

As you know, nightclubs don't make "products" for sale(besides the overpriced drinks and snacks you get at the bar), they keep afloat as long as there is people going in there.

 

So I believe we will be bringing vehicles of drinks(AKA supplies) to the clubs to fill up, if we keep it filled, the clients we be happy and more people will come to the club.

 

The income should be different though, we should get it daily(or weekly like in SP) without having to do any mission.

 

I'm not sure about you, but daily or weekly income sound good to me if I don't have to do any sale mission again. Provided the payout is marginally decent.

 

This is what makes sense the most for me.

that's what my guess is...that R* will mess up the nightclubs by making them a front and doing the business consolidation with it

If I'm not mistaken, we have somewhere around 10 nightclubs in the area of Vinewood, Rockford Hills and Del Pero.

 

I hope all 10 of these gets opened up for us.

 

Also, I'm waiting for some underground clubs as well.

That makes the most sense to me too, as long as you keep the club(s)/bar(s) supplied via supply missions ft. terminator aim NPCs and operational you will get the full weekly income, and if you fail to do so the payout gets cut or something, just like what happens in SP when you do not respnd to the calls or in Online when your CEO dies whilst playing as an associate.

I was thinking the supplies missions will take that form too. What I think is that instead of "sale missions", we'll get some kind of missions where we will tend famous people and VIPs, just like in TBoGT. And that they'll tip us poorly for our massive efforts.

 

Knowing Rockstar, they'll make the "passive" income so insignificant at first which will make a hole in our finances, meaning we will need to do stuff in public free roam to keep our investment profitable. You want to have a club for fun? Okay, but it will drain you $25k daily.

 

I'm also thinking that what if when we buy the club, we're only buying a part of the shares from a mysterious character (Yusuf or whoever else). So they're still the boss, which will reduce us to an errand boy yet again doing bouncer minigames and said special missions for VIPs.

If they change the interval between events to 15 minutes, I would be so happy. That alone would make it a great DLC for me.

Yeah, a front is my thinking. There's too many that idle the game and make a mint as it is, so I just can't see it being truly passive income. Maybe not sales, but I think we'll have a chance to steal or buy supplies, and raids from rival NPC gangs/cops too. Could even be a right bastard and allow players a chance to attack even yet, lol.

 

Anything's possible, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up for the ways that make the most sense or proper logical, lol. A recipe for disappointment, lol.

 

Hoping it's passive, but expecting it to be hostile though.

 

Collecting VIP's and such. With missions like Guns For Hire, lol. Featuring all the latest griefer friendly, passive abusing toys.
