any thoughts on who the contact will be for this Nightclub update? someone new or a returning character? my guess is Bogdan, what else is a Russian exile going to to do in LS but get into the club scene.

I'm thinking either Gay Tony or Yusuf Amir ... Maybe even Rocco, but that would totally screw up the GTAO timeline.

 

Worst case scenario: Brucie Kibbutz ugh #HopeNot

 

hadn't thought of Rocco, but he would fit (the whole organised crime thing and his general desire to be cool).

 

don't think R* would spend the money on getting Yusuf back, unless they hired an unknown VA to do an impression instead.

I wasn't even kidding. I seriously doubt they will introduce a new character or bring back someone from IV.

 

I mean, hey, they might suprise me, but right now I see it being a Lester or Ron thing.

So if we do get to own nightclubs what would the mechanics of operating and maintaining it be like??? Would it be like we have to guard it from other players or enemy npcs from raiding it? Or would there be like missions we have to complete in able to buy all of the upgrades? Any idea?

go into the public session to collect supplies, dodging doom mobiles to bring them back to your club, money flow comtinues

I am probably not alone in hoping it's not this. I'm tired of fetch quests. Online is loaded with them. I hope they've indulged in some creative thinking and come up with something a little different for us to do. Doing protection work (from NPC raids), or rival eliminations, would be a little different. Even better would be some kind of actual (albeit very simple) club management - set prices, source alcohol from vendors (with perhaps an occasional shakedown mission to get better prices), etc. They need to move past this "steal sh*t, then sell sh*t" mentality. It's fine but the game is packed with it.

There's a possibility, cars on Tuesday and then the next batch of Transform Races on the next Tuesday.

Although, Rockstar is having a laugh with their releases this time around so anything is possible.

I think Yusuf Amir is the most likely candidate. They clearly didn't forget about him as they added liveries named after him a few years back. And he's the character who would fit the most.

That is true, but we could see him handling the business side of the Clubhouse IF there is a business side.

I would like to see some returning character from GTATBOGT with an exception of Rocco, I hated that khed in TBOGT and I would hate to work for him in this, not to mention that him being present in the current storyline doesn't make any sense (but what makes any sense in GTAOnline today huh?)

Definitely. I still have Score and Neo (the one) by Slyder from rise fm on my phone, even though I mostly grew out of dance music.
