I doubt we'll be able to buy the existing clubs like Bahama Mamas and Tequilala. There may be supply missions (rob the competition?) or some such involving those interiors, but I suspect whatever we're allowed to buy will be new. And will work like other businesses where you walk to a blue halo and get teleported to the interior.

 

And if that's the case, you won't have to worry about some tryhard shooting it up.

They just added the interior back to Bahama Mamas in-game, could be for a mission of some sorts but my bets are on being able to buy it

Zero chance they allow weapons or PVP inside of the club. Theres going to be a blue corona to enter.

That might not be the case for Bahamas Mamas thanks to way the door opens, also how the interior is already loaded in the map.

does anybody remember that website that popped up with the weird info on it...the guess were crazy...but one of the weapons that was guessed was Katana...you don't think the website was giving us a hint on something big...does it?

The first three could have an stock variant available at Ammunation and an MKII variant too.

That would be great, especially the Programmable AR.

 

The game scripts still mention those, a lot of the text strings remain, and the game even has tunables for their attachments. Rockstar obviously still has the models and maybe data. This is literally the least effort they would need to put in to add something, it's surprising they haven't done it by now.

Perhaps it could have an advanced sight with multiple rounds at the same time, like 2 grenades at the same time or rapud fire that kind of thing, just a speculation tho, could be wrong :D

-HUD Icon and render left in files.

-Help text explaining the usage left over in the files - Aim weapon, fire to set range of the projectile, then fire again to actually fire. ("AM_H_PROGAR = Press and hold ~INPUT_AIM~ to aim the Programmable A.R. then press ~INPUT_ATTACK~ to set the range.~n~Once the range has been set press ~INPUT_ATTACK~ to fire.")

-Ammu-Nation signs left over. One marked as "Programmable A.R." with a price of 10k, other (unused) marked as "Programmable Assault Rifle".

-Added to Rifles slot. Evidenced by the fact the HUD Icon appears only when the weapon is assigned to rifle slot. Also it's in its name.

-Explosion data left over: Damage: 200 (direct hit) 20 (edge/splash damage). Since it's a rifle, idk what ammo it was supposed to have anymore.

I've already brought it up on the Vehicle Wishlist and Speculation thread, but with a "high life" theme likely alongside Nightclubs, I am so expecting some new Rolls-Royce analgoue. Really hoping we see the Sweptail (especially with the story behind it being an idea borne of a super-yacht and aircraft "specialist") but anything Rolls would be awesome. Though it doesn't speak to the whole modern nightclub scene, an old Phantom IV would be... amazing. Even a Silver Spirit!

 

What other cars are people expecting? I know we're well into the age of Online having a "mixed bag" dripfeed so there's something for everybody, but with the "high life" or "nightclubs" theme?

Soooo. If I try to read between the lines and make some guesses-

 

It seems like the programmable AR was a sniper-like weapon (that is, not iron-sights aimable, you have to use the scope) which fired an explosive round that did less damage than a grenade but probably traveled faster and farther than a grenade and had some homing capability. But was not a hitscan attack like the railgun.

 

I can see why that was cut as that seems rather overpowered for the base game, but in the 2018 game with the explosive sniper and armed aircraft everywhere... might be a bit more balanced now? Plus they can charge anything they want for it.

btw I hope we can customize those clubs however we want. Dance clubs, Biker clubs, Strip clubs, bars. i hope theres more then the typical "pick one of 3 themes"

Pool, yes! And the Progammable AR is probably my most desired weapon going back to GR when I was sure they'd add it :( We did get the Hunter which was also a cut item, so there's still hope.

 

Speaking of hopes, I'll be keeping my expectations low for this nightclubs DLC. I really will be content with a few cool cars and maybe a new minigame or 3. Some more fashionable clothing hopefully, maybe even a bike.

You know what's a must for a nightclub dlc?

 

A fully customizable limo. But let's not stop there! Inside the limo you can drink champagne and smoke cigars! And not just that, you should be able ot do busines sinside them as well, such as resupplying and such!

 

Now if we could only get Benny's rims on all vehicle. Who knows? Maybe we could get to customize wheel son aircraft too!

It's nothing but a bit of Copy & Paste for you and we could finally carry our Heavy Sniper with normal ammo again.

The Railgun is not Overpowered or anything the Firerate sucks and we would only be able to carry let's say 40 Rounds.

It's pretty damn unbalanced against unarmored aircrafts, even more so than explosive rounds. Say hello to CEO Buzzards or I/E Cargobobs if we'll ever get one.

The railgun is extremely overpowered against aircraft, which already have it rough in a world of explosive snipers and homing launchers.

You are well named. Nightclubs have been one of the most poplar user requests for years; naval DLC is not as widely wanted (and it's also behind mansions and tuners, two other common fan requests).

 

Personally I'd rather have naval or aquatic DLC, but it's a minority opinion.

Nightclubs along with Tuners are in fact the most requested content to date. Naval is up there in the top 5, but not as popular as thw other two.

I wonder what the income will be. Is it like Storymode or will the nightclubs unlock more missions?

 

Some new VIP work would be appreciated (Especialyl if some of them are soloable) if they were tied to the nightclubs. What fine little perks would we have upon purchasing them? Much to speculate, ladies and gentlemen!
