Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 6)

So if we get more SV races along with the Dominator GTX and the Tyrant, then hopefully we should get another sale on the Deluxo and the Stromberg. The question is, will they skip another week again? I will not be surprised if they do.

It's not even a question. It is a certainty. They already announced that the new Special Vehicle Races will release on May 1st.

 

They will extend the x2 $$$ Vespucci Job next week, as well as doing x2 $$$ on another big money maker, I am betting on Biker businesses or I/E.

 

Then May 1st the two cars plus x2 $$$ on the new races.

and "it will finally receive all the tools" ? LOL, not even remotely close...

 

I wouldn't get my hopes up.

 

- We don't even know if this "update" affect all modes or only the new ones.

- All new props since CS part 1 are still restricted for races only...

- No new props in this "creator update" (not counting those targets from adversary mode)

 

It's defiantly not the last online dlc... I don't even think thats the last creator update that we will get, and if it is - I would be very disappointed.

 

Theres so much more they could do with creator...

TVJ AM is pretty fun at first, but gets boring and a bit annoying after a while. Itd be more fun without checkpoints and with much more people, something like the busted mode that GTAmissions had made plenty of videos on.

The mission creator is probably never coming.

 

We know what's coming, a FR work/business update that consolidates all of the previous free roam businesses. Some cars, some MkII guns, probably a few weaponized vehicles/aircraft. The usual more or less. The best thing I could think of happening with the next DLC is that they completely remove the new handling flags added with SSASS, even from the Viseris, and that they fix clutch kicking/midrange speed boost for the SSASS cars.

Is the mission creator being unlocked finally? if not... no thanksNah, they're just providing additional options and props for Races, LTS and Captures such as more weather options, times, team names, more props (hopefully bringing all race props into other creators).

 

As for the Mission Creator, its just sitting there hiding.

It's unfortunate to see so many players justify Rockstar's lack of effort and spin half-measures as a good thing. Maybe if we put Rockstar's feet to the fire more they'd step their game up.

 

But when you have so many apologists in this thread clamping down on "complaining" instead of pushing for better content it's easy to see why Rockstar does the bare minimum. They can get away with it and people will love them for it.

I also agree, this game needs a major update, and I mean 2.0. A new city accessible by going to LSIA, unlocking the mission creator, more activities and stuff to interact with that immerses you in the city you exist in - nightclubs, places to rob in free mode, social gathering areas/no fire zones. The game has so much potential but the player base seems to lack ZERO imagination when it comes to what to ask for.

 

Its so aggravating when I see a lot of you folks talk about updates and youre like I really hope they add some random car and its like, thats it? Thats what keeps you logging time into this game? Collecting cars in a game that already has 7000 vehicles?

 

No more Adversary Modes, no more dumb ass bat mobiles/deloreans, no more underground Bond villain lairs, no more idiotic clothes or masks that just embolden punk kids with mommy/daddy issues.

 

Give us something substantial to sink our teeth into.

Yeah it's pretty much all I care about with this game anymore. The vehicles. I don't even want a map expansion, would rather just wait for GTA VI for that kinda experience.

May I ask what you do with those vehicles then? Or in other words why do you even care about having them? Cause If you don't care about using them, actually driving them on those new roads, using them for new missions

Good thing you weren't around back in 2014 with the Last Team Standing DLC then, it introduced to the game the cancerous combat helmets(that now are a need in PvP) and the marksman rifle, once the potential of the rifle was acknowledged by the try hards, it killed all the fun in sniping.

 

I hated that DLC with every fiber of my being.

How do you think short rage rifle with a scope should be used? It's not even a sniper rifle, kinda more close to Assault rifle with a scope than to Sniper. You still can stand outrage with your heavy weapon and have fun. Just that you can't use Sniper rifle 100m away, feel disadvantage to Marksman rifle, means you don't know how have fun with Sniping.

Same caliber.

Same caliber. I dunno, I know many weapons that kill with one shot, depending on range. Within range of standard Sniper rifle it doesn't kill I guess because bullet traveling distance lower.

 

Edit: Also it's buffed unlike Sniper rifle.

What I do:

 

1. Get what I like, admire it, take photos.

2. Drive and do random sht with them in free-roam, like stunting, but mostly a chill drive/cruise.

3. Go to car meets, show them off.

4. Stunt/Race

5. Admire the collections with or without other people

6. Give free taxi rides to randoms in public sessions if I paint a car yellow

7. More random crap

 

It would be a bonus if we got a new land and missions to do those things in and on, but I`m not complaining about what we have already.

I`m in the same boat as Mach though, I care only about this game for cars/vehicles in general and car meets. I don`t care about the rest of the game, I`m sort of done with that part.

Proto hipster daddy*I drive them around. I do missions with them. I make movies with them. I take photos of them. I race with them. I make races for them. I do freeroam challenges with them. I cruise around in them. I attend car meets with them. I do literally everything in them.

 

It's not about collecting, I don't care about that. I just have a love for cars, I am a car guy. So that is what makes me the happiest. If they only released vehicles and nothing else from now on, I would be perfectly happy with that. I'm fine with the map we are on now, not tired or bored of it yet.

 

Also, not being edgy at all. Just stating my opinions. Not saying you guys wanting a map expansion are right or wrong, you guys can wish for whatever you like, you are certainly entitled to do so, everyone is.
