With no cars at all it makes the weeks kinda lame. I guess one or two of the weeks will have Creator updates too though.

That only means that the next dlc will come sooner. : )

Theyll definitely skip weeks tho. They posted on the newswire that the SSASSS content is gonna last til May 29th.

Because they don't pump and dump games like other franchises do. If you follow the trend from the last several titles, it takes as many years to create as the number. So we should be looking at GTA VI next year (pure speculation).

 

From GTA III to SA: ~3 years

From SA to GTA IV: ~4 years

From GTA IV to V: ~5 years

From GTA V to VI: ~6 years????? (2019)

 

But that would be on the heals of RDR2, so maybe 2020.

Well if there would be only Caracara participating (like in Hotring) then i would buy it. But looking at how they tied 7 races to different vehicles i think its kinda pointless.

You got your timeline a little mixed up. III > Vice City > SA > Stories (2x) > IV.

Plus I was referencing the titles produced by R* North.

Here is the timeline and who made what (DMA became R* North).

I swear, does the average random player EVER read the directions of the game mode before playing?!? Now, the font is extremely small even on larger Tv's, but come on, how long should it take you to realize the objective of the race is to shoot f*cking targets and come in first place?!? Good God, everyone I played with couldn't even grasp those simple instructions..

They likely do, but people are going to play how they want, regardless of whether they understand the rules. I'm fairly sure the rules of a race are to come first, but some players seem hellbent on building a barricade at the finish line instead.

The pile of money i'm sitting on just keeps growing and growing with this DLC.

I haven't had this much money since before DDH and I didnt do ANY crates last week.

 

How is R* gonna break records for the most players online in December then add this lacklustre DLC in March. I would love to see the peak amount of players in December vs the peak amount of players during this update once it finally finishes.

 

I'm fully aware that March is traditionally a filler update but when you've got so many players playing that you're breaking records, you gotta make sure they keep playing and keep buying those shark cards. Marketing fail imo.

Some of you all are just so angry, its kinda hilarious.

 

Just dont play. Im not firing it up this week or ever again if Im not happy with it. Im sitting on a 9 figure bank account because half the sh*t thats been released is either broken, irrelevant or both. I bought two cars so far (Hotring and Ellie) and neither have been used after day one. The Ellie saw 15 minutes of use while doing one sightseer and thats all it took for me to realize it was slooooooow and sub par. Hotring was for those races of which I did exactly 20. Wont touch that sh*t again if you paid me real life cash.

 

The world is a big place, go outside, find another hobby or just play another game. If you cant tell that Rockstar has put the interns on this project now I dont know what to tell you. At this point theyre just testing things out and using the current player base as a focus group for GTA: VI. Dont like what you see, dont play. Help shape the future of the franchise by moving on...
