I don't know if this question was answered already, but is it possible to add more customization options to the recent vehicles we've gotten, like more liveries or more weapon modifications?

Just imagine how much worse the negative feedback on the updates would be, if they actually cost $.

It can always be worse, so make the best out of what you get for free....or play something else.

I'm not to sure why people keep believing this isn't a problem but whatever floats their boat surely doesn't float mine and others who see this as a problem for what it is.

Because people like me that have played the game since launch day, don't treat it or play it like a grind.

We play Heists, Missions, & Events for fun, having years of taking advantage of the random 2x events that have been offered.

Combine that with the mindset of not being a "buy hog" on every new thing that comes out right away, at least until some hands on player info is released on it.

Did I purchase the Luxor Deluxe or Swift Deluxe when they released way back during IGGs PT1 update?

No, because I paced myself to check player reviews & info on it beforehand. This game has been a good practice on compulsive buying for alot of people.

As for Businesses involving more financial dependencies, such as for upgrades & improvements....that's not a surprise to anyone with decent knowledge on how it works.

The point is after initial investing in the Business, investing additional funds so future profits are far better & makeup for the expenses.

I look at updates as what they are; free new content that I can afford because I've played long enough to know the ins & outs of having fun in-game while making cash.

If the game released a year ago, yes I'd argue as well right alongside you that everything is too freakin expensive in the game.

However at this point making that argument as the game is 5+ years old, feels like it only should be coming from new players & those who are horrible at managing their cash.

Except it's not "free"

Instead of paying money you're wasting real life hours on the most monotonous sh*t just to afford all the newest toys. They could have at least made the grinding more enjoyable but no shark cards rule everything $$$$$$$.

You are so right! Because the guy holding a gun to your head to play GTA says so.

He's not wrong, you really have to spend hours upon hours to be able to afford a single thing in this game and it has gotten to the point where it is tiresome or even frustrating. Especially since they really seem to be pushing for making people buy shark cards.

Played since day 1, enjoyed the heck out of the game, grinding was somewhat tolerable but they seem to try and force you to buy shark cards as of lately by making it hard to make money to the point that it is tiresome and frustrating as I mentioned. And that type of behavior is just disgusting. The last couple businesses are the prime example for that.

Not trying to be a dick, but if you get so frustrated and are so disgusted by it, what brings you back to play?

- Love/Hate relationship

- Hoping for the game to get better

- Playing with friends to make the grind more tolerable

- Addiction

- Liking some aspects of the game and disliking others

- Stockholm Syndrome

- Literally not having another game

The game itself is a masterpiece without the grinding and the new toys they add somewhat make it worth grinding for but that doesn't take away from the monotony of it.

Let's ignore all the factors that will change upon doing this and claim it will be much worse.

We all know it would be horrible & as well the resulting aftermath if it was a paid for DLC style.

^ Yeah because you work at Rockstar all of a sudden. The paid DLCs they've done in the past have been fantastic and at the very least, worth their price.

I still don't understand why anyone would continue to play a game they find monotonous. I really don't.

The Doomsday Heist update with its Christmas liveries for previously released vehicles like the Molotok showed that yes, it's possible.

At least simple things like upgrades and liveries.

Because there's a million other f*cking things to do in this game that are more fun than grinding but unfortunately they don't pay well enough to afford new content. And before you say we don't need all the new content right away, you're right we don't but that's in a large part the appeal of GTA Online, enjoying content from every new update to our heart's desire. No one wants to play with old toys all the time even if they're just as or more efficient than the newer toys, new content keeps the game fresh and enjoyable and keeps people coming back.

Just because grinding is monotonous doesn't mean everything in the game is and doesn't mean I hate the game as a whole, I just hate THAT aspect of it. Unfortunately that's the only way you can scrape together a living in this game since everything else that's remotely enjoyable or worth a damn pays f*ck all.

I'm allowed to hate one part of a game, doesn't mean I hate the entire game wtf lol.

I haven't paid a dime of real cash for any of the updates or the content in them, in this game.

Absolutely free additional content that keeps my interest works just fine for my gameplay.

For all we know, paid DLC in this game would be the swap for shark cards, so the high prices would still exist.

No new weapon modifications that I know of.

Wishing they would though, like the ability to swap any mounted vehicle turret with 50 cal. Mini-gun, & Technical Turret, & Barrage Grenade Launcher options.

That would be a nice universal feature for any mounted weaponized vehicle.

1) that is YOUR choice to play effectively, mindlessly grind, pay the shark, ignore the content, or walk away from the game.

2) you're able to pick and choose your content if that's what you like. I think the current update is garbage and wouldn't pay for the full update for the 3 vehicles I'd get. which between the races assversary modes and vehicles is like 5% of the content?

3) the highest start up cost was the facility with the cheapest being 1.6 mill right? To anyone who ends their sessions in a profit and been playing since launch that is chump change.

4) considering you think you need to treat this as a real life job is ludacris. For the past 4 months I've averaged an hour a day at the controller and have a net profit of 52 mill. Play smarter, not longer.

Not surprising/crazy, for everyone has their own opinion.....kinda common sense.

Millions may think differently on the matter than me, however millions of others think the same as me.

The original point I was making, is it all comes down to how you treat/play the game, that determines your overall view on the "Grinding Issue".

This is why I always say, don't grind.

Here is some on topic-ness for ya. Tomorrow we assume we are getting the Caracara because it's adversary mode releases tomorrow. But what if we have to play a round of the adversary mode to unlock it? I know usually we would find text for that but I think it could happen.

If it does, then I would bet we also get the next pack of vehicles too.

Thanks for actually answering my question. My crew made a deal where different people buy different new toys, then everyone can just swap vehicles and try them out. That way you don't have to grind for days on end to own everything. Simple solution as long as you don't play solo. If you do play solo the dreaded lifetime grind should be expected.

If memory serves, we had something like that for the TRON themed stuff right?

Can't remember if it was the bike or glow outfits, where we had to play a round of the new game mode to actually be able to purchase said items.

Yes we unlocked the Shotaro by playing 1 round of Deadline.

Dr.Rosenthal

Most of the time I'm not sure if I'm grinding or playing. Lately it's dawned on me that I easily make a few millions every other day or so, which is really insane compared to what I made in the early days. Being able to afford a car in the 500k-1M price range was absolutely HUGE for me back then, and buying those cars was a rare thing really. Whereas nowadays I buy Super cars every week in the 2-3M price range without a flinch and never look back.

But it all comes down to whether you have a business or not. For new players, first getting an Office, a Vehicle Warehouse and later a Bunker, those are no small costs combined. But when you're settled with those businesses your really have to try hard NOT to make money, honestly. I buy stuff all the time and am amazed as to why I'm not completely bankrupt at this point. But then I've played the game for 5 years, log on pretty much every day for at least a few hours.. so in that sense I think I "deserve" getting fat paychecks in pseudo-currency, and to me the paywall has never been as huge as it is nowadays for new players. I've gone from saving up to a car, to saving up to a garage, to an apartment, to an Office etc.

BUT I do agree that many of the jobs available really are tedious, and that's a shame. R* are trying to make it increasingly difficult to make money in-game in every way they can; buffing enemies, making sell missions unnecessarily difficult, encouraging PvP destruction of product, increasing travel distances between objectives etcetcetc... And I agree that it's sh*tty, and indeed it has taken a lot of enjoyment out of the game. Sadly.

On the other hand sometimes I enjoy the mindless grind. I don't want surprises and excitement all the time. What I would wish for though is some new activities in which I could compete with friends without blasting each other to bits. Stuff you can do in free roam, as a pause between sourcing cars and selling counterfeit guns. Like a game of pool. Anything really.

It won't.

+ Adversary mode ? You're talking about Target Assault Races ?

They are classified as races, the creator update is already in the files to have us make our own Target Assault Races.

There will be Verified ones as well.

It's only the Caracara that's coming tomorrow and that's according to the stat order which pointed out that the Tezeract & Ellie are the first in the release order.
