This is a VAZ 2106. Was very popular in russia 5-6 years ago because of the cheapness. Sold one with my father like a decade ago.

 

Those are known as "Lada" around here for some reason? I've never heard anyone referring to theme as "VAZ"

 

In Russia we get used to call newer cars (Granta, Priora, X-Ray) Lada, old cars - VAZ, or "Zhiguli".

VAZ is a manufacturer, Lada is a car brand.
