Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

At this point we've got so much over the top crap, that a Tuners/Import DLC would be underwhelming for me & many people.

We get all sorts of high end & custom cars in dripfeeds anyway these days, a full DLC release of performance & custom cars would just feel like a massive dripfeed spree.

 

Now if we didn't have flying cars, weaponized armories, & a large variety of aircraft...hell yeah I'd be for a nice car focused update.

But eh, now I look at it & see it as something that popularity wise would die off within 2 weeks, just like how the first Benny's update was.

for most of the people on here it's the opposite. almost everybody on here is tired of the meme sh*t.

 

there is a reason the tuner/muscle vote is still leading very strong. if they find a way to make the gameplay aspect fun and refreshing it will be a massive success.

I'm exactly the opposite... we've had enough silly crap already. Normal stuff would be more than welcomed. But here we are, with people wishing for A-10s, unmanned drones and ufos. The game being screwed already doesn't mean they should just keep making it worse for the sake of the "well we already have this! argument.

To clear it all up:

 

1. I was told, from a person that is not my usual source, that they got information telling them the update is coming on Tuesday. I trust this person with my children's lives. They are a brother to me.

 

2. My source that I used to get tidbits from hasn't said anything at all aside that it will be "soon". That was several weeks ago.

 

3. I do not know anything concrete. It might be coming and it might not. Nothing I have heard was correct after Smugglers Run.

no, that is not all he said, he said his source said that, last we, in this forum, heard from Mach's "source" was back in Dec, when the source told Mach the next update would be INAH pt 2. No idea if the source in the screenshot is the same as the one from Nov, either way, the reason this is a big deal is if the screenshot is real, and not altered in any way, then we are talking a leak, from a source, not speculation.

Based on everything that has come to light over the last few hours Ill change my speculation:

 

60% the update drops as a surprise on the 20th. Likely Hipsters 2.

 

40% the update drops March 27th and its either Hipsters 2 or some bullsh*t racing update nobody will play.

 

0% the update drops in April. That was never going to happen.

We appreciate you clearing that up Mach. Everyone should take this with a grain of salt of course. Don't hype yourselves up and then be all pissed off at Mach because he gave out "false information" if the update doesn't drop this upcoming Tuesday. In the game development world content releases are always subject to change.

Flying boats,submarine control center,private islands,(Nautical DLC). coming 20th march (just joking).

Trailer drops on 20.03,and the DLC will be on 3 April.

May I have an explosive sniper-resistant A-10? Could be just a little too clumsy to dive bomb from angles people can't aim at, and maybe be really difficult to dodge missiles without countermeasures. Basically a jet that's powerful, but not in an annoying, "you-can't-even-aim-high-enough-to-hit-me" way.

 

I wanna see more sponges for those explosive rounds about.
