Btw I remember some of the dream now. I was spectating a meeting between these jerk offs at Rockstar and one of them says to the other with a smirk "Let's give them one more event week on the 20th but this time make sure you sprinkle in a subtle tease about Hipsters 2 at the end before we drop it out of nowhere on their asses on the 27th" The other guy gets confused and doesn't know how to tease it so the guy that asked him just tells him to think about the first Hipsters update and use something from that. That's when I died laughing and woke up just now lol.

 

I could totally see this meeting happening at their offices btw, that's what made this dream so f*cking cool lol.

He said he rely on the engine sound and the gear changes for racing... because you can "double clutch" (not the right term, but it's widely used in GTAO racing community) by letting off the gas just before it shift and pressing it again to get a small speed boost. You can't do such thing in the EV cars in GTAO because they're like a CVT, one long gear, no shifting. You constantly calling people on their "ignorance" and being condescending to people around here is starting to get really annoying.

I really hope we get a Tesla Semi ripoff one day. Maybe add it as a third MOC cab option? Performance-wise, I would expect it to have acceleration on par with the Khamelion, with around the same top speed as the Voltic.

In part, I Don't know about the double clutch thing though or what it is, much of my racing overall discussions take various other games into consideration too. As I said, a racing gamer first and foremost.

 

But yes, by saying I rely on engine sound, lol, it was kind of obvious I'm talking about cars with an actual engine sound with gear changes and such.

 

As he says, electric cars don't have that characteristic, so how he assumed I mean otherwise is anyone's guess. But alas, he says move on, we move on.

I don't see Rockstar doing a LC map for GTA Online, especially for a small thing: the radio stations. It will be ridiculous driving around LC while listening Los Santos Rock Radio... Of course they can rename all the radio stations (Los Santos Rock Radio -----> Liberty City Rock Radio, which is a real radio station in GTA IV) and add a few new tracks, but I think that this will cost a lot of money for them if a LC Expansion will be available for free. But I don't think there will ever be a paid DLC, Rockstar doesn't like to split the player base. Regarding the next DLC I think there will be a surprise update on this tuesday with a bunch of cars (and maybe some clothes) and a big update (for example DDH2 or I/E2) in April/May.

Throw in a proper RX-7-based update of the ZR-350, and you've got what I like to call the 'Big Four' (Mustang, Challenger, Supra, RX-7).

 

Mustang + Supra = must-haves, but only if R* isn't prepared to go any further with imports/muscle - otherwise, there's no good reason not to throw in the other two as well.

That's a lot of work for a 4+ years old game to put LC in and if they were to put the radio stations back in, depending on the agreements signed, I'm fairly sure that the rights and royalty fees were signed for GTA IV only and would need to be done over again. Lots of work and lots of money (even tho Take Two isn't lacking the latter) for a game that won't last that much longer. They're better off putting all those efforts on VI.

 

And if they were to make a map expansion... I'd rather have Las Venturas and San Fierro. LC makes no sense, it's on the east coast.

See, the lack of purchasable Lost/Gang Slamvan at this point is just...

 

It's another thing people have wanted for years - and what's particularly moronic is that it already exists!! Almost no work on R*'s part, besides replacing the Lost decals (or just removing them, if they wanted to go the zero-effort route) and doing the usual things like an in-game website listing.

 

Assuming this next update isn't huge, I'd have said they'd add it then, bit like the Duke O'Death last year - but again, that's the logical thing to do, so...

Here is my thought process. They gave us the Viseris, which is a Pantera. It has a badass engine sound.

 

Panteras had 351 Cleveland engines in them, literally hopped up Mustang engines (what my Mach 1 has).

 

So, I say slightly alter that sound and you got a good one for the Dominator Classic.

 

Besides I think they are done reusing sounds pretty much. Most of the cars released last year had unique sounds.
