Which was the last DLC that we got a proper sports bike?

A giant DLC with everything I personally want would be horribly disappointing to the rest of the playerbase, so for them (and that's a lot of people!) I would have to go with the fixes update. As long as it made good fixes, unlike the slap-job mentioned above.

What would you guys prefer? 1 giant update that fixed all the existing wallbreaches / Glithers and balacing, OR a giant DLC with everything you personally want?

Come on, who would take the first option over the obvious one ?

 

Well, the first one could buff bombs. And add a bomb sight. Also let helicopters last longer while smoking, take a few more shots to make smoke. Let the Savage take more explosive rounds, like the Hunter.

 

Make suicide count as a death. Put a reasonable cooldown on passive mode. Get rid of passive for armed vehicles.

 

There's a lot I'd like balancing-wise.

 

Both would be better though, and I see no reason there can't be both. Let's have some bbbbrrrrrrrttt and some buffed bombs.

Hm, your opinion surprised me tbh. Is it because you already have everything you wished for or is the wallbreaches / glithers / balancing that bad that you would sacrifice a dlc ?

I didn't felt it would be a priority if i could get all the vehicules i asked for ...

 

The game is full of bugs. Even if R said it was the last update Id still go with a bug fix update. The only car I ever wanted in this game was the Uranus. After 4 years of waiting, f*ck them I dont care any more.

I played on ps3 long after ps4 came out with no updates, nothing and had a great time.

To me more content =more bugs and I prefer a smooth running game at this point.

Hmm ok i see we have too different experience in this game. I'm also on ps4, i have never experienced a bug that would make me upset that much. In my case i'm still wishing more content until i get everything i asked for. Hope you'll get your Uranus.

 

Well most casual players do not notice the many bugs in the game. I dont know how much you play, just saying but I play daily and have run into alot of bugs you see people complaining about here everyday. The doomsday update is absolutely littered with bugs. I continue to play it for the money but due to the many bugs its not really fun. I dont know how many times I have gotten the ceo left bs among many, many other issues. So yea if all they are gonna put out is more bug filled content I can surely do without it.

if they don't announce this update soon im going back to minecraft. they've had their next update announced since November. which gives me the thought of what if rockstar announced the next years/months dlcs all at once.

I got in my MOC yesterday and when I exited it 5 seconds later.. it had move about 500 metres on the map and gone to the inside of the los santos airport.. just the trailer mind you. The cab was still at the original spawn point. Even for me that notices every single little sh*tty bug (and there are hundreds) that was something new and disturbing

This happened to me in very rare occasions. I happen to play daily too but i feel like i got lucky compared to you. It would be interesting to see what happen if we both play together (which i invite you to, if you don't mind).

With Rockstar's poor decision of investing in a-decade-old P2P server setup, I don't think it's likely at all.

 

If they want to fix modders for good, they have to invest into actual online servers.

But that wasn't the question! Of course, I did exclude the "oh, hey, look, Liberty City in Online, that's cool" part of my "perfect update." I imagine a lot of people would like that.

 

Though... It would be disappointing not only in the way that what I want added but what I would want changed or removed. This isn't an attack on anything - I'm actually quite happy with the way Online is as a whole, though it's far from perfect - but my perfect update would entail quite a lot of things that would break the hearts of many people here, not to mention outright wreck Rockstar's profits. For the sake of insight, a few examples would be... Get rid of all explosive rounds, remove the bombing capability from all but a few planes, lower prices on almost all vehicles, make the "cheap" DLC vehicles like the Kalahari and Slamvan available for storing off the street, add customization for all the car interiors...

 

It's not that I want to ruin anybody else's fun, of course, but "perfect for me" and "fun for everybody" are different things, and I'm OK with that. Don't hurt me!

It'd be awfully disruptive for those "true" passive folks who like their vehicles that always have weapons for those vehicles to no longer be available when in passive mode. I understand the cheapness of somebody in a killwagon going invulnerable to avoid their owed justice, but it's not fair for the people who want to go do barrel rolls in a Bombushka or relive Vietnam in a Valkyrie in peace. Can't say how many times I've been goofing off in freeroam, enjoying my time in a Deluxo or Rhino just to get targeted because the vehicle looks scary. Passive is a saving grace for those times.

 

While I still think the best alternative would be an overhaul of lobby types to have "PvE" and "PvP" varieties, I imagine a simpler solution would be that weaponized vehicles can't be passive if there's somebody in a gunner position. This is still a small patch for a larger leak, though I figure the bigger fix would be the "you can't passive or kill yourself if you've killed another player in the past # amount of time." As I've previously mentioned, the easy-way-out option is useful for out-of-combat situations, but it needs limits. And do the right thing and make it count as two deaths, for those freaks who care about a stat on a page somewhere.
