Whats with the heists talk?

Someone just mentioned it in the thread, that's all.

I see a yan posted a riddle. Went back a couple of pages and people were talking about a double meaning?

Just curious, in the past when has R* replaced a delayed DLC with another update? Why is everyone so certain there will definitely be an update on 12th no matter what?

 

If it's delayed then it's delayed, right? And if they're behind schedule how the hell are they going to magically create another whole update and get it ready for the 12th?

As much as i would love to see another heist dlc, i sadly don't think its ever gonna happen. Heists don't stimulate shark card sales that much imo. Unlike forced public lobby businesses dlcs like the bikers, ceo, gunrunning etc. Players destroying each others vehicles & product etc. Also heists costs more produce with voice actors, the cut scenes etc,

 

i fear heists and most other pve related content died when Leslie benzie got fired. Basically open pubs businesses dlc costs less to produce & results in larger shark card sales then heists or other pve content for that matter. Sad but true.

Basically the sad truth is any update that is both fun and lucrative is in direct contention with microtransactions. They prob regret making I/E payouts decent, and soloable (especially in an solo pub lobby) Its really sad when Agent 14 literally sells you out to other gunrunners, after he sets up your sale.

So, probably this Tuesday 5th would be announcement day and after another day the trailer could dropped, let's say 7th or 8th and the update could dropped on 12th. Hmm..

Both genders. Pretty sure females got a few suit jackets, suit pants and high heel shoes with High Life, there are pre-made outfits.

Rockstar always does a December update to drive up the holidays sales of shark cards.

 

Its not even a question if there will be a update. The new update is coming on December 12th.

Fun checked into the current event's run time and it ends on the 11th, a day before the 12th, which is a Tuesday, which is also the day R* drop updates.

 

R* themselves pretty much confirmed a new update for December a few months back also.

 

I just don't think it's gonna be INAH 2 by the looks of things.

I don't know how I did it last year. I just don't understand the obsession of endlessly predicting when the info will be dropped and then the update, which lasts until it actually gets dropped and released. It's tiring. Forget about it, focus on something else for a few days, check back, boom info on an update. Much better than sitting going off of some dude's vague codes.

Now granted a Heist part 2 doesn't exist at the moment, but what's to say there was meant to be a Heist part 2 and it got delayed, hence the on hold and coming later part of Yan's riddle? What if its not INAH 2 but instead a midnight club style update which includes cars that satisfy everybodys tastes? Only thing thats making me go against this feeling is weaponized vehicles wont really fit in with that update, I could be wrong though.

That's literally the dumbest explanation ever, sorry. There's a higher chance of Story DLC coming and we already know what Rockstar said about that.

 

There will never be a sequel to Heists, the sooner everyone accepts that, the better. Sure, I'm nobody and my word doesn't count for sh*t but if Heists II were actually a thing, trust me we'd know about it far in advance. Rockstar wouldn't just drop it out of nowhere with no promotion or announcement at least a few weeks in advance for something so big.

 

INAH2 was found to be the next update to the leakers right around the time SR had dropped so we know for sure that's one of the updates in the pipeline in the foreseeable future for Online. Anything else is anyone's guess but one things for sure, if Heists II was meant to be the next update we'd know about it well in advance of today.

Yes but it is exciting when you get information regarding the next dlc then you speculate on it.
