Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

When ESO puts out a new map, you can buy the addition on its own, or if you havent purchased the base game yet you can purchase the premium edition (whatever its called) that includes the base game plus whatever theyve added to date. Just saying.

 

GTA IV had a complete edition released in 2010 (2 years after the initial release), which contained IV + ELFC.

I thought the DLC would be released on Tuesday the 13th, but QABeta has been updated 10hrs ago and I doubt it will be the last update. IMHO, the D-Day'll be on Tuesday the 20th.

 

P.S. I'd like to know, what the premium edition is.

Qabeta doesn't have to stop updating for the update to be released.

This week we had a new livery , the scotish tartan for opressor

There are still 3 or 4 unreleased liveries , so if they continu to drop those once a week we could wait at least one month for the new update

I'm back...and I have my doubts of the DLC being delayed...it's most likely that they are trying to get it ready still and have ran into a few snags along the way (and no not quoting that guy)

I can't recall specifically. I wouldn't expect one this time either.

 

Either announcement Monday, release Tuesday. No announcement, release Tuesday. Announcement Thursday, release on the 20th.

 

One of those scenarios seems most likely to happen.

Its ridiculous how all these people who were saying "its DEFINITELY the 13th" are now " nvm its DEFINITELY the 20th." Saying whatever the closest feasable Tuesday is will be the day, that isn't speculating, its you just wish-listing the closest possible date.

 

Here's some actual speculation: the QABETA just got started updating... last week, i think? That puts the 20th at the absolute earliest date possible, and a highly unlikely one at that. The 27th is a much more reasonable guess, but even that is far from a sure thing. All the speculation of an update originally came from the rebate, and that was a tenuous boat to sail in the first place. The QABETA could just be getting worked on for something more long term in the future. It might be time to recognize that GTA is getting old, and the usual update schedule will not hold up forever.

All things said and done I think you have a functioning arguement for the 20th, and a more reasonable one for the 27th, but dont be shocked if march ends with no update.

 

A no update March is unlikely when we had March updates for the last 4 years...

We just had a 2X Bunker sales event week and now we have a filler 2X on races that ends March 12th. No one realistically believed in 6th March, they just hoped it would be that early. The 13th would actually falls within our average March update release. The Qabeta started updating March 2nd (friday of last week), so technically, next week is still within the "2 weeks of Qabeta updating before release" deal and we've had Qabeta updates twice after DDH was released and no one really knows what it was about. For all we know, maybe they've started testing things early and put it on hold until recently.

 

I'm still team 13 until proven wrong by not having anything released next tuesday. The 27th is just a silly date when you look at the previous years. With RDR2 pushed back from Spring to Fall, they'll want to keep players busy in GTAO until then.

 

qabeta is still w.i.p, next update is in a test, not ready.

I highly doubt R* will release the update without announcement and PR company. (due to 2017 experience).

 

Personally, I don't wait the update this Tuesday already. March, 20th is my bet.

How do you figure we have to wait a month for the update when its coming March 13th or 20th? I dont get the math here. Still 3 or 4 unrelased liveries : the skull one , the rockstar one , and other one or two i don't remember

If they continu to release them once a week , it can be a month to wait

I don't imagine the release series broke by an update
