Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

They've had some really good event weeks the last few weeks, and now we have. . . double money stunt races and a few Supers/Sports on sale. I feel like we'll get double money I/E before the next update drops, so I don't think we'll see a new update until at least the 20th.

 

We just had a week of 2X Bunker and that's a lot of money for people that grinded during that time. R* are "kind", but not THAT kind to give another 2X on something stupidly lucrative. They let you make just enough money so you're happy, but not too much.

Yeah, probably because they knew all that money would be gone in no time. If this March update isn't that big, that wouldn't be a wise decision on their part.

I have no choice but to quickly inject that I thought Smuggler's Run was awesome, and would gladly pay for more $6M+ aircraft. Beats the Gunrunning research paywall.

It will consist of SF, Las Venturas, a rendition of Chicago, 5 heists, Franklin and Lamar online story arc involving our character in SF, and a laser beam that scratches your ass from outer space.

As long as they package lame races with great cars and other great stuff, it's fine by me.

I highly doubt they would do lame races again, since they promised 'bigger updates' in the run up to RDR2. They'll be saving their lame stuff for after RDR2's release.

Considering how good the cars last march's DLC added were if this does end up just being a small transform races esque thing they're likely gonna be really good again this time and possibly hint at the rest of the year's best cars (SVC added some fan favourites and that culminated in DDH with the hustler, hermes etc)

I highly doubt it. It IS a cool idea, but it's one that R* will probably never consider (or they WILL consider it and it'll just get tossed in the trash like the rest of the San Andreas map...sadly).

So long as the aircraft is NEW and is worth the 6.5 mill then I would have 0 issue with the price...

The lazer to me does not qualify, especially since beyond the handling stats (acceleration, top speed, turning, etc) the hydra serves the same role, and if the lazer was so important owning a FZ hangar gives you unlimited access since you deal with a 2 star wanted level for less than long enough for them to mobilize against you. Only reason I bought one was the 25% sale and the lucrative business opportunity that week

 

The bombushka was a day 1 purchase for me and I love it, airdropping my buds out the back in our freeroam shinannigans and more. Haven't used the volatol as much as real life and rotating job schedules prevent my buds and I syncing up to enjoy our antics since I waited for the discount, but I love my PRB livery on that flying billboard.

 

So again, so long as its worth the priceta;, which would mean customization more than just a quarter-assed paintjob, features that I can make use of that another craft cant cover.

 

I would glady pay 40 mill for my hellicarrier and that is more than I have had in my bank account at any given time. (hell this past week was the 1st time I hit 30 mill.) And all I will expect is a minimum of 10 aircraft storage slots, lodging quarters for spawn, AA defense grid, an operational runway, and of course it hovering around the map.

 

No business required.
