So, to sum it up: leakers are either non-trustworthy, retired or non-existing these days. There is no info on the direction of upcoming DLC, apart from Yan's indication that it could be something racing-related. One thing is certain today: most people liked DH and the model "something for everyone" it introduced so there is a lot of hope this model will prevail, even on a smaller scale.

Gotta say this sort of kills my confidence in an update for Tuesday but obviously I won't rule it out completely until Tuesday morning itself. I was just 99% sure we'd get at least an announcement today but I'm honestly bummed that we didn't... I was legitimately waiting anxiously for today lol

 

They could always announce it tomorrow or Monday or not at all even but all I know is the hype I initially had has dropped dramatically and probably for good reason too. There's almost always never a good ending for insane levels of anticipation. Almost.

 

Ah well, at least we have confirmation that the update is most likely in its final stages now, with them not updating the background script anymore.

The announcement not coming today didn't kill my confidence in an update coming Tuesday at all.

 

Even if we get nothing tomorrow I'd still be confident it's coming Tuesday.

 

If the update is as small as everyone is thinking it will be it could be a surprise update with the trailer dropping with the update on Tuesday.

i do not understand why they'd be testing the update like this if its just a transform race filler update that was clearly being worked on before doomsday. i'm hoping there is more to this update. because we just got a second heist update and the dlc after the first heist update was all about spending the money on luxury items. i'm hoping it could be the same this time.

Rockstar just posted about the loneliest robot USB stick and if you look at the newswire article then you see it's 60361. If you go to 60360 you'll see it's about crews and 6058 is about the Stunt Race week. But 6059 has been skipped apparently. Could that be the newswire post for the next update maybe? It seems it has already been saved for something.

They have done this before. Push out a few minor Newswire posts in a row before an update announcement. I guess so the other posts get a tiny bit of attention before the big post.

Im wondering if this update isnt going to be the usual March filler update.

 

Qabeta has now been updated two consecutive thursdays in a row. That seems excessive for a filler update:

 

Maybe just maybe this update is going to be massive.... and maybe LC is coming to GTA O, massive.

 

Just my average joe speculation and theorizing. But I dont think this update is going to be a filler update.
