Well today's lesson, as if it needed repetition: sdo to get excited about R* titles and updates until you are playing them. What they make is quality but the are the kings of delays.

Kings of delays? What are you talking about? Rockstar never officially announced the next GTO update, nor did they give us any information on when they would announce it. People here have just been doing what we always do, speculating on when stuff is going to come. All this means is that we were wrong on our speculation, nothing more, nothing less.

 

That being said, Rockstar is the king of delays. But I wouldnt say that is applicable to this scenerio.

 

OT: I speculate that if we dont get any info today or tomorrow it points to a update release on the 20th of March with a new event week on the 13th. I dont envision Rockstar doing a surprise update. I think theyre going to stick with the same marketing routine they went with in 2017. Trailers > Updates.

I disagree. If we dont get info tomorrow then that means its going to be a surprise update on the 13th.

Weirdly enough, the Valkyrie in the R*SC has a different configuration than the regular Valkyrie, featuring a set of front facing miniguns and rocket pods instead of the side miniguns:

 

This is quite interesting because is has slight similarities to that found in Fast and Furious, hence Tuners Whats even more interesting is that its the 3rd Valkyrie variant!

Dear lord. The point, clearly, is that even if said speculation and leaks about dates was correct (which if you read my posts I never subscribed to) then it could likely be scuppered by a R* delay anyway. Which makes predicting their releases a mugs game regardless of sources.

 

You tell people A < B and B < C, and they can't work out for themselves A < C. People's lack of logical reason is staggering at times. Do I have to spell every single scenario out?

Damn Rockstar always messes up somehow.... If we would had gotten this version of the Valkryie, oh boi it would had been 10x better. Imagine the pilot being able to control the miniguns and rocket pods. oh my god... seriously, why did they switch it up?

Really never been one to try guessing dates myself. Plus, to quote so surely and get it wrong, pointless, lol. But I'll be bold enough to say it'll probably come on a Tuesday, but even there, there's no guarantee's.

 

I do feel it may be a little further into March. Easter school holidays over here, lol. Kids get 2 weeks off in early April. Less a prediction though, just a wild stab at it. It'll be released when it's ready.

 

Bit cynical too, but really, I'd expect no less. Makes sense to add something when the game's likely to be more played. (Hence, summer blockbusters. It's all entertainment to make cash after all).

My lad and I share this game fully often, but I even concede, this being an adult rated game, really shouldn't allow that (kids) market to dictate it. IMO.

 

But, on the flip side of it. Though the kids are free. Many adults are more so during holidays too. Carers, single parents and such. even working parents get more down time as the kids are less pressed for time with school taking up all day, then homework filling much evening time too, leaving them to do their pap while we're away at work. To come home and have chilled kids not needing to fill my evening with school crap, lol. the holidays really free us all up in my house.

 

Double edged sword, lol. The holidays are for the kids, as us old folk still got our jobs and all the responsible stuff. But we all get more time in the hols.

QAbeta is always being updated. In updating, doesn't necessarily mean a DLC that everyone will cry about because they didn't get XYZ will be coming out. Updates include but not limited to bug and glitch fixes.

QAbeta is always being updated. In updating, doesn't necessarily mean a DLC that everyone will cry about because they didn't get XYZ will be coming out.
