Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

I like speculations but this thread need to cool down. Tons of posts bringing no or little of any value. Some of you need to start a blog or become a youtuber. Rant over.

 

As stated above by Volganor have some faith. And eat some chill pills.

It's a speculation thread FFS, and there is going to be announcement soon be it today or next week... we're using the thread exactly as intended, stop backseat moderating

 

Piro, I hear you, as annoying as the dramatics can be after they announce something, I'd much rather have info ASAP. Have to make sure the virtual bank account is in order and all that, but like you said, that isn't going to help R*s bottom line.

So. Here we are 3 months later. I've learned my lesson the last time, i will not get my hopes up intill i see something on the Newswire. You cannot get disappointed of you have no expectations at all.

Since the update is coming on the 13th its definitely fair to at least expect an announcement today. Im hoping we get a trailer with it but I wont be mad if we just get a screenshot.

All but ddh were released at the 89-91 day mark. DDH was like 96 days.

at one point, yes, I think it was before the release of GTAV, trailers and newswire posts were posted at 12 gmt, but it was changed a while ago.

did we get so many qabeta updates last march?

 

maybe it is stunt races and tuners mixed in 1 update? spend money on the new custom shop (2to5 mill depending on upgrades) and some tuner cars on release day. and the stunt races are the gameplay aspect of it . maybe a couple of clothes but less then in big updates.

The internal build is usually updated everyday, they can publish so many updates and it's just a bunch of bug fixes.

On a somewhat unrelated note but I wish they still bothered to verify jobs. You know, have some interaction with their community and actually get the chance to get the R* shirt

 

For real a little communication goes a long way. For the life of me I do not understand why they do not interact with the community. I think they would be so much better off if they were less secretive and more open with the community.

I can't figure it out, makes no sense, financial or otherwise, they must just be so far up their own arses that they are lost.Well, to be fair, they must have got quite the sting with Heists and, as soon as they were released, Rockstar probably took the chance and decided to become more secretive about Online's development. Granted, the spectation around Heists was from their own doing. But going to this closed off extreme is a bit much.

 

In my opinion, they could learn a bit from Digital Extremes and the way they communicate their ideas surrounding Warframe with all sorts of streams and other methods.

They can't verify stuff if they don't even play their game... what? they do? I doubt it, if they do they'll really see some of their stupid decisions in action.

and DICE too, DICE has the CTE where an update is released there before in public servers and people get to join and try everything before it's officially released, not to mention that DICE developers have social media accounts, they interact with the community in there, Rockstar makes it seem illegal to work for them and interact with the outside world.

It's pointless. If they do an update nothing will be changed on a go, and only three possible meaningless feedback they will receive - "Cool I love rockstar!","Worst update ever, I hate Rockstar!" and finally "Rockstar, pls add things I want".

As much as I love gta online and all its update i took a break from playing between import export and gunrunning. I hated transform races simply because it wasnt free mode orientated and the fact that races arent my thing. On the other hand i am currently doing the same since doomsday bored me after a few weeks. Im back to see whats going to give me a reason to play again. If it is races ill probably let gta rest and wait on red dead.
