What's been their sechedule the past few years for the March update announcement? Thursday, then trailer Friday, release Tuesday?

LR:CS - March 14th announcement > March 15th release.

I know that nothing is confirmed, but I'm kinda looking forward to the possibility of new Stunt Races. Some of the courses that Rockstar create are really fun. c:

Namely we could use Stunt Races for classes other than Supers or Sports.

OT: I'm speculating big (around 30 vehs) dlc named Midnight Club (or similar), with new business purely based on racing-betting-pinkslipping and new office (club) for that with lots of garage space to store all the stuff.

One thing I love about dlcs, after a release all mod menus will be down for a few days; you can stay in a public lobby and no one will blow you from the ground or set you in a fire.

 

OT: Nothing really leaked this time, I don't anything to speculate.

Transform Races were part of the SR update but yeah they definitely treated it like its own thing and even dedicated an entire week or so to it.

Technically, they are two DLCs.

"mpSmuggler" and "mpAirRaces" DLC files, I assume they had plans to introduce it as separate DLC.

Tbh Im not even hyped no more for a DLC knowing it could just be some lame races but lets hope for a announcement tomorrow and a DLC like the business update or something.

I'm just hoping it's neither; a: just like bikers in which almost the whole update consisted of 1 vehicle type that i personally couldn't care less for, or b: a reskin of gunrunning, smugglers run, i/e. I want something new and not deathly repetitive.

 

I would be perfectly content if it was just a map expansion (to the extent of liberty city) or some more normal stunt races (which i'd LOVE) but as a standalone new dlc. i want to see something new, little things like stunt races could be added as drip feed.

After seeing LC map added to GTA V world in FiveM, very few themes for DLC can get me hyped now.

Street racing scenario with real import tuners + nightclubs is something that would bring more life to online imo.

a more laidback theme would fit the "I just saved the world" aftermath scenario.

they gotta add beach houses and such soon!

We can still have new businesses but they should focus more on making them more immersive and less... grindy. Just add a little cutscreens (like those from contact missions) and make missions longer and not about going back and forth all the time.

 

Just "start from A, go to B, do your objective and thats it".

 

A mix between VIP freeroam missions and contact missions would be perfect for a new business if you ask me.

and since they just made heists part 2 I can see them "copypasting" that formula and making a business thats 80% freeroam preprs and 20% mini-heists (kinda like I/E).

as for pay dlcs - R*s statement was "payed dlcs would only divide the playerbase. We don't want to do that"

I agree with the talk of another racing-style dlc, although I think it will be a bit bigger than the typical March filler updates considering how interest in the game peaked with DDH. in my eyes it seems like a wasted opportunity on Rockstar's behalf if they released only a few cars as the next dlc, as I'm sure that would disappoint the new or returning players. Only time will tell

a small filler update is most likely at this point.

 

and mach is right,most causal players only care about the cars in each new update.

that's why i think it would be best for rockstar to release around 4 cars on release day instead of just 1 which they did last year,with another 4 in the dripfeed.

 

especially since the gameplay would just be the same stuff we got back then.

 

they can't keep on relying on those stunt races to be enough on release day.

Not a stretch at all and tbh it doesn't even have to be because of GTA IV. Many cars from that game have been heavily requested for GTA Online for quite awhile.

would'nt be suprised if the gta 4 turismo will be the car showcased on the newswire if that's the case.

 

it would be the closest to a super car they can get from gta4. and we all know how much they love those. not to mention their obsession with grotti.

 

altough i would love some SA cars to come back aswell. (just so i can have the SA jester). unless they replace it with that stupid new supra just revealed. urgh.

Oh, I know that lots of vehicles from gta 4 have been heavily requested (I have requested the gta 4 sentinel, the double t dragbike and some other vehicles myself ), I just think that now is the perfect opportunity to do so and that its now even more likely that they do something like that.

Id like R* to add a car based on the 1994-96 Chevy Impala SS for the Tuners/Import/Streetracing dlc, the impala ss was my #1 car for street competition in midnight club, it wasnt the fastest but I still managed to beat other cars that had superior performance.
