Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 5)

Alright, I'm thinking a reveal on Thursday is highly possible.

I'm glad to see this thread back (and sami.y gone).

 

On topic: With this week's updates, discounts and bonuses, it is clear that the next dlc is going to be the inclusion of deluxo and stromberg races. Now, when Rockstar does this, some juicy cars are also added. I, for one, am an optimist this time. I think some of the all-time community-favorites will be included. I'd expect the Supra to be finally added: Both the A80 and the new one that was unveiled this week at the Geneva Motor Show. Possibly a Dominator Classic as well. The Patriot H1 though, I think would arrive with the next big update, during the summer months.

All the lowriders returned from 3d era would be nice for a final lowriders dlc (customs classics wasnt a good dlc vehicle wise imo.) they could make this as a may dlc since the March dlc would be most likely small and the dripfeed wouldnt last longer till may. well considering we got only the modern/concept version of the Jeep kaiser (Kamacho) and ford bronco (riata) they might pull off something similar with the beloved *yota.

I wonder if the Tartan Livery for the Oppressor was added to make players that are sleep-saving the 2x$ Bunker sales force to restart the game to unlock it.

 

I never got a pop-up about it and I don't have a vehicle workshop at the moment (removed it from MOC and waiting for a sale on the VW for the Avenger) to see if I can add it.

Probably those wacky races for the Deluxo, Stromberg and Oppressor like Mach said. I just hope they have some nice cars in them like Special Vehicle Circuit did.

In future: Report and ignore rule breaking and disruptive behaviour so it can be dealt with swiftly. Dumping fuel on the fire will put you in the crosshairs of a lengthy temp.

Off topic: as a casual reader of these forums, the condescending attitude that all mods seem to have is more than a little tiresome. I know y'all have a tough job, but the majority of people on here strike me as pretty reasonable adults. Your "I'm the parent, you're all misbehaving five year olds" is a pretty petty shtick, and one you'd never see on hitmanforum.com, for example. You're a moderator on a video game fan forum bud, not at the UN- bring it down.

 

On topic- what makes everyone think the stunt race week is indicative of cunning sunts part whatever? I was thinking if anything it would mean its less likely- why encourage people to do a bunch of racing if all you're gonna offer them is a bunch MORE racing next week?

If nothing else, I'm expecting one of two things (if only car-wise):

 

- a 'top-up' of an existing set of vehicles from a previous update (think Lowriders: Custom Classics)

 

- a hint as to the kind of things coming later in the year (like with Special Vehicle Circuit)

 

 

The latter would be interesting, but if the former gives us a bunch more fun, varied things like the Doomsday Heist cars*, that won't be bad at all.

 

*by which I'm talking things like the Hermes, Hustler, 190z, GT500, etc. - not things like the Revolting...

I'm thinking that's definitely what we're getting, a filler update just like last year and then a major one on June, I hope Rockstar proves me wrong lol

Honestly im finding the behaviour of the mods really fair and patient(especially with the bebay123 problem) in this forum but still they could just ban the troll and keep the thread active.

The only messed up part about this year is that we didn't have any announcement about the next major update, I believe even Rockstar doesn't know what that might end up be, last year they said Cunning Stunts Vehicle Circuit is coming in March and Gunrunning was coming soon... soon as in 6 months of waiting.

Four cars. GP1, Ruston, Infernus Classic, and the Turismo Classic. However, I feel that there will be a lot more packaged within this upcoming DLC. Y'know, enough to hold us in until a big release? That's my opinion anyways.~
