What are the iconic tuner cars that people would expect to see?

 

We already have the Skyline, WRX, and Evo.

You could probably take those cars and make them part of the drip feed for a DLC with a completely different theme.

I feel like some of the tuner cars being mentioned (even the one I own) might not be iconic enough for Rockstar to take an interest. Whoever said earlier that we should just look to the Fast and Furious movies is probably on the money

i gree but with the current controversy surrounding games with lootboxes and microtrans, i really doubt they would add the casino at this moment.

Qabeta has already started being updated.

 

Speculated release date seems to be the 13th or 20th.

Proper Evo 9, 180/240SX,BRZ/GT86,... could be very well in a dripfeed indeed.

 

Did you guys forgot about the Ford GT Mk40? And yeah we still don't have a Camaro ingame imagine that -_-A GT40 and Camaro aren't tuner cars bro. At least not the type of cars they are talking about.

 

We do have one Camaro btw. Vigero.

At this point, I can't wait for a boat DLC to come out so everyone here asking for it will realise how boring boats are and get bored of it within 5 seconds.

 

You can't make a boat fun.

 

You can try, but that's about it.

the same goes with a new car. you buy it. you drive it for 2 hours and then you are bored. people cant think. this game doesnt need more vehicles. it needs things to do that we like to do after years!

I agree that I want something new and fresh. Casino though? What kinda fun is that gonna add? The ability to go in and loose 200k of gta money in a game of black jack? That doesn't sound fun or right with the GTA franchise (despite them having a casino before).

 

Tuner/naval DLC to me is basically the same. Nothing exciting. Same old sh*t, probably same lame replica buisness, just with new vehicles (naval DLC drip feed will feel like eternity). The only thing that would breath some excitement for me personally is having access to own the blacklisted vehicles. Even new emergency vehicles (RCV could of made a great firetruck 2.0).

I still hadn't heard one good idea for that tuners update...

 

What would it be? racing in freeroam? Then it would end up as just another freeroam event that no one wants to play...

 

Tuners vs Hunters - the adversary mode.

 

1) Stop writing it as 'tunning' please, it looks super dumb

Use a full stop at the end of your sentences please; it looks really dumb without them.

 

On topic: It's probably just going to be some sh*tty little update that neither group of people cares about. A couple of adversary modes, etc. That kind of thing.

 

Meh. As long as there's some nice patch notes with some good tweaks, I don't mind so much. More aircraft of course would be great. More storage for them will be needed if we get more of them though - in fact I'd say it's needed as it is.

I hope LegitLeaks really is legit. The riddles are so much fun. I think i prefer it from just saying what's coming. EDIT: It also seems from his hints that we'll get both the tuners and boats. Not in one dlc of course but eventually.

tbh an overall summer theme fits LS or "LA" also better, since the most time over the year it´s sunny in LA.

no srsly though,i feel that we have to calm down a bit because no matter how much requested it is,chanses are still lower then expected.

Even if we don't get a tuners dlc, we will still get tuners. That seems to be the disconnect with the "Tuners crowd". We will still get muscles and classics too. All year. I promise

I don't really consider the NSX a tuner. I think it belongs in the Sports Classics class with cars like the Diablo, Testarossa, etc.

Even if it is a mini update, it will probably have vehicles that hint towards the theme of the bigger updates for this year. If there is a car oriented update this year, chances are we'll get a whiff of it in this spring update hopefully. I'd still much prefer a Midnight Club DLC, that way they can make half of the roster muscle cars. I'd take a car update over a sea based PvP update any day, but specifically tuners may be too limiting. Why not cover another niche as well, certainly will sell better..

Ive said it before and Ill say it now...I dont care what we get because itll still follow the same formula.

 

New property thats really just a paywall to obtain potentially game breaking new weapons / vehicles

 

New gimmicky business that wont compare with I/Es profitability, potentially an extension of my prior note

 

Drip fed vehicles for 3-4 months with only one or two being truly worth the wait.

 

What Id rather have is a game FIXING update. Things like changing the broken catchup system and curb boosting in races (especially if we get a tuners / race heavy update). Or much needed updates to howmatch making is achieved and flexibility in changing lobby preferences (like selecting a forced car for a race so you can do off-road races without the Sanchez). I could go on but thats wishlist stuff.

 

Well get more of the same and the things currently wrong or broken will stay that way.

Well I would be totally fine with them adding stuff like a dodge challenger hellcat, 2012 camaro zl1, classic challenger or a classic mustang in a tuner dlc.

I totally get that not everyone is into japanese cars and their tuning style and thats why I think that while the main theme would be tuners, the update should offer something for all kind of car culture
