*no one cares about IRL differences between different kinds of tunning cause its still the same thing in a video game, whatever you gonna call its still bannies update for new cars

I still hadn't heard one good idea for that tuners update...

 

What would it be? racing in freeroam? Then it would end up as just another freeroam event that no one wants to play...

 

Racing with cops? thats sounds more annoying then fun. It's not like they gonna magically turn this game in to NFS.

 

Thats still not enough content for a whole dlc. It could be a part of "new freeroams event dlc" but not its own thing

 

 

I think people want tuners cause they like cars and they like payouts from I/E...

 

but when it comes to gameplay ideas? its kinda like with casinos and clubs.

"yeah I want it! but what it is and why I want it? dunno but it sounds cool!"

even lowraiderDLC had Lamars missions. You cant just say "tuner dlc with tuner cars". ALL dlcs are "tuner dlcs" in that case...

- Tuning( not only visual), like engine parts camshafts, clutches, gearbox, diffs, tyres. ecu, and a LOT MORE

- track width, wheel width, wheel offset, tyre profile, cambers, steering angle and LOT MORE

- car that are icons, like evo, rx7, charger, challenger, miata, m5, m3, impreza WRX, gt86, silvia, skylines, mustang, and a lot more

-Hao, as a mechanic and a contact missions from him

-Proper drag racing

-Touge

-Drift

-Street racing

-police chase

- Manual transmission

there are a lot of things that could be and which are not in gta, you were once a car meet? Drifting spot? Drag race meet? And you tried make a car for a specific style? Like german, jdm, drag, drift missile, ?

There is a lot of missing in gta, but of cours for you ,,tuners,, will be only stupid races like cunning stunts, and another cars...

i really hope we get access to police vehicles. i want the f*cking interceptor so bad, i could just see how emergency vehicles and tuners could work so well with eachother. it's the perfect dlc plot

1) Stop writing it as 'tunning' please, it looks super dumb

2) People who actually know anything about cars know that a tuner update would obviously differ from a lowrider update since it, you know, isn't about lowriders.

What I imagine people mean when they ask for a Tuners DLC is a deep customisation feature which would allow for much more individual and personal vehicles.

 

For example, a colour pallet wheel where any shade of paint can be mixed and applied, custom decals, engine and suspension customisation set-ups which noticeably affect handling and performance, hundreds of body and interior modification options, all represented by the type of set-up values that could be shared by players etc

 

If this was introduced and especially if retro applied to most if not all existing vehicles, you can guarantee longevity to this game and an enthusiastic community would form around it.

look both naval fans and tuners fans are ofcourse gonna be biased towards their own request. heck even i find myself be like that.

 

both things aren't for everyone i get that to.

 

but still,when it comes to rather having naval or tuners,you just have to look at 2017. naval update would be the least refreshing thing we could get now.

 

people always say "this isn't a miliatary sim" and yes stuff like that does fit the game,but if we take 2017 in consideration i would be very confident to say that 2017 for sure crossed that limit. just the fact that people still ask for another update like that almost make it seem that people WANT to steer this game in a pseudo military direction. that is just flat out wrong to do,just like steering the game in a tuner only direction would.

 

and yes people could make a (half assed) argument that tuners would bring nothing new to the table (very hard to believe) but it would still be refreshing because 1:it's unlike anything we got the past year,and 2 it would focus on OTHER people's requests for a change.

 

am i against a naval update? hell no. but why do people want that to be the next update when we have gotten stuff like that the past full year. (the only difference would be that instead of planes/tanks it would be boats). why can't those people wait and let other themes get some updates first?

Plz do explain me how it would be different in gta world? Please share your car knowledge and car culture to us normies. Explain how Lowlaider TUNING has nothing in common with sports car TUNNING? How could it be completely different in gta?

 

guess what - growing weed has nothing to do with making meth. But somehow in gta its still gonna be just driving slow vans with crates...

Alright, ever seen a japanese sports car with hydraulics, pinstripe, chrome and carbon V8 block, big stereo system, golden rims, white-wall tires, wooden steering wheel and tiger-stripe interior? Or did you ever seen a impala with stripped interior, twinturbo V6, rollcage, 4-point harness, racing coilovers and springs, aluminium rims with track tires, aero parts like spoilers and fenders? In real life lowriders and tuners are different like sun and moon. Not everyone gets this, yes it would be called tuning in gta in general but the stuff behind it is a different side.

 

 

What is car culture anyway, I see a lot of people on here with love for Skylines, Supras, WRX's and all these Japanese sh*tboxes, I come from "car culture" in real life and spent years on a drag strip. There it's a totally different thing. No one drives cars like this, it's all about big motors and traction. In previous years I've hung out with Rally guys.. again they don't give a crap about big motors or Japanese sports cars, they just want light cars that can drive through the gravel roads in the forest as fast as possible. I also know a lot of people now in car clubs and they just want to have a relaxing drive on Sunday in their stock classic cars going as slowly as possible . So who can define car culture.. it's only perspective.

- so manual trransmission is only for drag racing for u? XDDDD Drifting revv on rpms

well i don't think they would go as far as adding manual transmission or making the RPM level count towards the driving. they would have to completly turn around the old code and rockstar hates doing that.

 

the stuff that we would see however are more and new exterior and interior mods,maybe even NOS to act as the special feature of that update (every update has had something like a special feature,so it would make sense). and ofcourse a whole lot of cars.

 

it might seem very basic to the people who are not intrested in tuners (and i understand that) but for the tuner fans out there just those things i mentioned are already a very succesfull recipe for an update like that. now granted they would most likely add a new gameplay element to go allong with it aswell. be it missions or a new and FUN way to race(no stunt races but actuall new and wanted race types).

 

now i know that it ofcourse would be catering to a very specific group but tbh so did the whole of 2017.

I'm not against a naval dlc but it's not my preferred one, it will probably just be a different version of GR and SR and people will complain after a couple of days because it was not exactly what they wanted.. Yes this will happen with a tuners dlc also, lol
