I never said it wouldn't add anything good... I just said I still haven't heard a good concept of what it could actually add to the game.

Besides lowrider tuning and proper sports car tuning has nothing in common, yes pretty much. Or like I said, without any business or missions. Just cars, better tuning options and a new property, they could even make it a long-ass dripfeed and put some hypercars and muscle cars in it, too.

Every argument I've seen beyond the subjective preference against naval goes double for tuners. The hypocrisy is deafening

already copypasted that on previous page But if you want to know in comparison to tuners?- improves part of the game thats been neglected for years- makes old sea missions less sh*tty - ability to spawn custom boats right next to you (so no more complaining that you are stuck in water) - does to boats the same thing that SR did to aircrafts. Adds weapons, armor, countermessures, makes them faster then super cars, adds MOC- ability to customize vehicles that we couldn't before - possibility of new interiors, new amphibious aircrafts, aircraft carrier that spawns in freeroam (for missions and fr events)

You can spawn a dinghy by being a CEO. Naval DLC would be reskinned Smuggler's Run, which is basically reskinned Finance&Felony (with customization elemets). I don't want a derivate of a derivate (derivate^2). I bought the hangar, but I haven't done the initial mission, because I was sick of all the businesses.

 

And what would tuners be? A derivative of lowriders? A derivative of i/E?

 

Lowriders pt.1 is 2,5yrs old. We got Smuggler's Run six months ago. There's plenty to improve opposite to the businesses. Import/Export was pretty good, but there was lack of cars, community wanted (Supra, RX-7, and so on). Tuner DLC could be similar to the Lowriders update. Plz do explain me how it would be different in gta world? Please share your car knowledge and car culture to us normies. Explain how Lowlaider TUNING has nothing in common with sports car TUNNING? How could it be completely different in gta?

 

guess what - growing weed has nothing to do with making meth. But somehow in gta its still gonna be just driving slow vans with crates...

I agree with piro. A naval dlc sounds much more interesting then yet another tuning dlc. I'd rather just get another benny's dlc than tuners.

Alright, ever seen a japanese sports car with hydraulics, pinstripe, chrome and carbon V8 block, big stereo system, golden rims, white-wall tires, wooden steering wheel and tiger-stripe interior? Or did you ever seen a impala with stripped interior, twinturbo V6, rollcage, 4-point harness, racing coilovers and springs, aluminium rims with track tires, aero parts like spoilers and fenders? In real life lowriders and tuners are different like sun and moon. Not everyone gets this, yes it would be called tuning in gta in general but the stuff behind it is a different side.

a FiveM server recently imported the Liberty City map into GTA V. Plus I don't think Vinewood Motors went into the R* HQ where they develop the content.

Its still the same thing. Thats why u get tuner cars in Bennys lowraiders. Cause no one cares... Its still upgrading cars with the same bodyparts. No difference at all.

No problem. It's just that one of the funny things I remember from IV back then was the BAWSAQ logo.

 

The thing is, even if I too want an LC expansion, I don't know how Rockstar will deliver it and if it will work. Something as big as an expansion requires a lot of testing; more than any of the updates we have had before.

What would it be? racing in freeroam? Then it would end up as just another freeroam event that no one wants to play...

 

Racing with cops? thats sounds more annoying then fun. It's not like they gonna magically turn this game in to NFS.

 

Thats still not enough content for a whole dlc. It could be a part of "new freeroams event dlc" but not its own thing

 

 

I think people want tuners cause they like cars and they like payouts from I/E...

 

but when it comes to gameplay ideas? its kinda like with casinos and clubs.

"yeah I want it! but what it is and why I want it? dunno but it sounds cool!"

even lowraiderDLC had Lamars missions. You cant just say "tuner dlc with tuner cars". ALL dlcs are "tuner dlcs" in that case...

 

 

SO:

- Custom Garage, Workshop in different styles

- Tuning( not only visual), like engine parts camshafts, clutches, gearbox, diffs, tyres. ecu, and a LOT MORE

- track width, wheel width, wheel offset, tyre profile, cambers, steering angle and LOT MORE

- car that are icons, like evo, rx7, charger, challenger, miata, m5, m3, impreza WRX, gt86, silvia, skylines, mustang, and a lot more

-Hao, as a mechanic and a contact missions from him

-Proper drag racing

-Touge

-Drift

-Street racing

-police chase

- Manual transmission

- car meets

there are a lot of things that could be and which are not in gta, you were once a car meet? Drifting spot? Drag race meet? And you tried make a car for a specific style? Like german, jdm, drag, drift missile, ?

There is a lot of missing in gta, but of cours for you ,,tuners,, will be only stupid races like cunning stunts, and another cars...
