Like I said, I don't care for all those PvP updates either, or the meme cars, or the focus on public session content.

However, the game is a blast and not as bad as these forums lead you to believe.

So, you ask me to define things "objectively", yet you blatantly blurt out that there's objectively nothing wrong with the game? The absolute mental gymnastics.

 

If you do not care for the PvP, or the memecars, or the restriction to the Public only cancer, then you'd actually admit that the game is rubbish and is still going to receive even more rubbish in future update. Just how the f*ck can you admit there are problems with the game and deny their existence in the same sentence?

 

The problem here is that the game is moving away from the identity and followship it built for two decades all because of the greed caused by microtransaction, and walking matts like you and AUSCowboy who keep eating up the superficial bullsh*t are just as bad as the whales who keep buying the shark cards. How many times do I have to hammer this fact in?

 

 

You're in full force today, look kid you should go back to circle jerking in threads where everyone agrees with you, that cloud of animosity is okay for an old bitter person but you're 22 (seeing your profile) and so you would've been... what 3 years old when GTA 1 came out? yeah sorry but no... you can't say what the game was like if you came with the 3D era and don't even remember those games good enough in the first place, Newsflash the game was (and still is) pretty silly, the only one who deviated was GTA 4 with its dark emo phase, the rest have always been stupid and over the top. it's not just a Saints Row thing... that one game is a parody OF a thing that was already a parody. Go bicker somewhere else.

I don't own any of those meme mobiles, but I don't really mind them. One thing I don't like about them is the insurance I have to pay when I blow one up, that's crap...

Thirdly, perhaps these whales are funding a future GTA online game that won't have all this crap.

I don't think kids buy shark cards that much. Kids are more likely to cheat, dup, and glitch.

I think it is working adults that buy the majority of the shark cards.

There is a guy in the shark card thread who claims he buys the most expensive card every month as it is the only game he plays and doesn't want to grind.

The only way Danger zone makes sense as a real person is if he's Jack Thompson's son, he bought into all his puritanical views of GTA, had a falling out and is now "rebeling" against his dad by endorsing GTA as a "crime simulator" that reflects just how super edgy he is. He probably doesn't even understand all the parody and references.

I would not mind more treasure hunts with weapons from rdr or outfits but it won't get me to buy it. I thought RDR was boring and the story sucked to me so I'm not even going to try rdr 2.

 

But I your right we may see more of them, and I hope so cause it was fun as hell.

 

As long as they're not holding our hands like the revolver one... I knew exactly where my first clue was, yet they highlight it with an idiot proof circle on the map. It was fun, but not challenging at all.

One of the things that make GTA such a great game that has mostly withstood the test of time is that it has a bit of everything for everyone.

 

You may not like the meme cars, PvP, etc but some do. I enjoy good PvP fights and have fun with all of the meme cars. I freely admit that in freeroam, I'm a complete douchebag troll. Some proxy mines at the mod shop or hosing someone down while they're shopping with the police riot truck is great fun. Going off the radar, hovering over an unsuspecting player with the Deluxo, then switching to land mode is hilarious.

 

If you don't like PvP, there's a plethora of other options like solo sessions, passive mode, the MTU trick. If you don't like the meme cars, then don't buy them.

 

And if you don't like how GTA has evolved, then maybe it's time for you to move onto something else that you do enjoy and can have fun with.

 

I'm looking forward to whatever the next DLC may bring, would love to see R*'s version of the Batpod and Spinner flying car from Blade Runner. I mean we can't just have the Deluxo as the only flying car in Los Santos right?

I agree with you in the first part, Danger, but I don't support getting really personal about it. It just won't help. And I do think that GTA is now a lost cause as a future franchise: Online will ruin it over time. I know that the source of your frustration is the actual love to the franchise and its old glory, but sadly this happens with other games too.

Okay so i have an idea.

I speculate that the next dlc wont get released before mid April.

As i know (please correct me if Im wrong) Rockstar announced that they will support gta online with future dlcs in mid January. What if Rockstar stopped working on the updates before they changed their mind and support gta online?

If there is a gap of 3 months (~90 days) between dlcs and they started working on the next dlc the day after the announcement it makes sense that it will be released on mid April.
