Yep, I vaguely remember that happening with DDH. Scrolling through Facebook on my phone at my 10 o'clock break, nothing. "Well, crap." *comes back later at my noon break, the trailer had dropped JUST after I went back to work.* ".... Holy sweet mother of..."

if anything it'll just be an update to the creator and add the DDH vehicles to it but with something else leading the way...and no business...that'll most likely be the April Update...if it does have a business...then there won't be an update in April

yes they were released in March...but there was another one released in April still...but that was a small one though....however....they won't be doing something like that again...because they've been known to release small ones in march...but I'll be shocked if they release the big one early instead then release the small one afterwards

honestly i don't know if this is possible...but I think qabeta has been updated...they just keeping it a secret from us....but I doubt that though...just a theory on my end

Updating the creator with the DH vehicles and adding a small, fresh dripfeed would probably require less testing and even approval time from the consoles/steam. I'm still betting the March update will be something akin to this.

but the way they have been handing out money the last couple of weeks not to mention that random mill people seem to be getting could suggest otherwise. altough that's more a tinfoil hat argument.

With RDR2 pushed back once more, they kinda have to do something between now and the actual release. We're getting something in March, I'm just wondering if they won't move things around as the usual big December DLC would be barely 3 months after RDR2 release and they said that they'd slow things down around its release to allow people to play it and not miss anything on GTAO.

I'm thinking the same. Some cars and some bicycles splashed in with adversary modes and a meme vehicle or two. After the first heists we got ill gotten gains I+II. I'd wager something similar is in store. New hair and facial hair would be a solid fit for that kind of update.

Definitely uncharted territory, that's for sure. TBH, I'll be happy with either. A large update is always welcome, but if it's a smaller one, I'll use the time I would spend it to play other stuff or just taking a small break. If it would bring another large swath of things we specifically asked for, obviously I'd prefer the full on DLC. If it's a small filler update like SVC, I'm sure they'll add a few high demand cars to sell that as well (that will always be one of my faves as it brought the F40 and F1 I'd been yearning for), so either will probably be good for us car folks. Watch it be Bikers 2. Honestly, that would be my choice if it was up to me, I want muh San Andreas rotary powered NRG500.. and Sanchez Classic/Retro.

It's a shame GTA V/O hasn't been made to be at least just a little bit racing oriented game from the start, in the true sense of the term 'racing'. Moreover, you can't even drift. Customization and tunning seems to be made with minimal efforts, like it's some indie game, often times it doesn't make any sense. The only value can be found in insane stunts and over the top crazy stunt races. I'm not sayin it should have been GT or Forza, but, man, the driving feels dumbed down heavily.. otherwise, I'd gladly vote for anything related to racing, tunners and similar...

I hope I am wrong, but I think we will be getting a small one, like previous years. Stromberg/Deluxo races and maybe Avenger-related Adv. modes. Throw in half a dozen new cars and bikes and that is it. It wouldn't be ideal, but it'd make me happy regardless. Specially if the cars are classics or more "normal". I'm a boring guy, I guess.

 

On a completely unrelated note: I got 1.1 million from Rockstar today! Yay!

I have never bought a sharkcard and I have probably glitched close over 800m and I currently have 414m.

and yes that is a sound theory...that they are working on the next dlc already...especially since qabeta was updated a month after Doomsday heists was released

 

however....R* could be having issues with both Sony and Microsoft with the next DLC as well....making me believe that we may not be getting one this march

the indication is that the qabeta hasn't been updated yet...and they need approval of Microsoft and Sony to allow it to happen...until that happens qabeta won't be updated

Whatever it is - there's a good change that we will get something similar to a treasure hunt. It was very well reserved and it's relatively easy to make. They can port something from RDR2 and create another hunt even in a last moment.

I'm guessing the revolver treasure hunt isn't going to be the only one. These kind of campaigns will drive gtao players into rdr. Many of us are a guaranteed sell, but the ones on the fence will be driven by the treasure hunts and other interactive marketing ploys.

Arcade racers have a long and glorious history. There's nothing wrong with the driving except that it doesn't satisfy purists (i.e. it's a matter of taste). The problems with racing lie elsewhere: bad default settings in Rockstar-created races; bad mechanics, especially catch-up and slipstream; too many bad tracks and not enough good ones; and the most unsolvable one, a community that largely doesn't care about racing and would rather troll.

Double money on the freemode VIP missions such as fortified would be nice for next week if we dont get the dlc then since its a easy money-making method.
