We need more aircraft storage too. I can't even customize the Volatol. I can just about fit it in the storage area, but can't fit it in the hangar floor (which is where it needs to be for me to customize it) unless I sell aircraft. Which I'm not going to do.

?

You just move the rest of your aircraft to the storage, you don't have to sell sh*t lol, the Volatol's big ass takes up the whole front half of the hangar so just move it there and let whatever's already there move automatically to storage

Smh lol

144NjLL.jpg

I'm not sure it'll fit in storage. Isn't storage only 10 slots?

I have 9 in storage. Moving the Volatol to the main floor will displace at least 3/4 aircraft - I'm not sure what would happen to them. I mean, they couldn't be moved to storage if storage is full.

Or maybe I've got it wrong and there's not a limit on the storage. Hopefully, lol.

If I understand correctly, the hangar stores up to 20 total vehicles regardless of what's on display. The number you can display is limited by size, as bigger vehicles take up extra slots. But there's no limit on storage except that you can't have more than 20 total vehicles combined. If I'm right, you don't really have to display anything... they could all be in storage. I really don't get all this whiney "no more military stuff, C*, I only want civilian stuff!" Well then, only buy civilian stuff, lol. I don't want supercars, so I don't buy them. I don't want tuners, so I wont buy them. You know the one thing R* will undoubtedly bring every year is more civilian cars. They have never excluded civilian cars in any update. Add both, Imo. I'll buy the stuff that appeals to me and ignore the rest

Well not everyone is into military stuff and more than half the content we got in 2017 was somewhat military/weaponized stuff so its somewhat reasonable that some people do not want more military stuft.

Its also pretty hard to ignore something that R* tryes to shove down your throat (aka. adverts for the moc/avenger, bunkers, facilitys, etc.) or that constantly shoots at you.

I'd like to punch the guy who thought giving the opressor/deluxo, 30 (!!!), spamable, stupidly high accuracy missiles would be a good idea.

But given that there is a large number of us who are mostly here for the military stuff (dont get me wrong, racing is my #1 passion, but when I'm in a freeroam im there for the pvp or to get bunker cash) a fifty fifty split seems pretty fair.

One, you can PvP without a fighter jet and a tank. That's what most of us object to: not getting shot at, but getting overwhelmed by powerful vehicles that are supposed to be rarely seen because they are tangential at best to the game's theme.

And two, three of the last year's big updates were explicitly militaristic. Gunrunning and Doomsday are little else, and Smuggler's Run had more armed vehicles than not. You fellas can let the rest of us have a turn - compared to when it first came out, this game is now absolutely packed with weaponized vehicles.

The one thing I don't understand about objecting to the naval stuff is.. it's the water. When was the last time you went on the water? (That's a serious question, I'm not trying to be condescending or start a war.) The beauty part (in my mind) is, if you don't want to have to deal with the naval vehicles, just.. stay off the water. It's not like they can drive down the street, after all.

I can understand wanting a car dlc to be next, even though I honestly want a naval dlc really really badly, but.. to shoot down the idea of a naval dlc altogether? If anything, it'll take some of the griefers offshore so they aren't messing with your cars and things. (For the record, my wishing for a naval dlc is the military/history buff in me, I don't give a damn about pvp. Seriously, I own a Khanjali and haven't ever used it against another player. I just like the way it looks, and for occasionally using it in gunrunning missions. And going on rampages against the AI in private sessions, like I used to do with the rhino in the good old days of GTA: SA.)

There a blatant difference between "give us a turn" and "no military vehicles"

There have been non weaponized vehicles in literally every update. Regardless of numbers to "have a turn" its still means to give room for two or three said weaponized vehicles. To say no "weaponized vehicles because we want a turn" means to have an unnessessary sense of entitlement. You also have to consider that the entire dripfeed, beyond peashooter upgrades, is non weaponized vehicles.

And one factor i think is grossly overlooked is how many people who are demanding said non-weaponized vehicles willing to buy a shart-card for them. Common lets see these unicorns in this crowd. Stand up and let yourselves known.

Rockstar develops these updates for profit. Not charity. Not a labor of love. The developers have morgages, rent, and other bills to pay, have families to support. Take two will not invest in their salaries if they cant make a profit. All of you are out there trying to find ways to jip the virtual people making your virtual coke, meth, and guns out of their paychecks are you surprised they snitch to the cops about your operations and cause it to be raided? So their loyalty is to what makes the money. The last 4 updates, being weaponized updates, were the most profitable. They will not think that is coincidence. They know weaponized toys are where the profits are at.

Yep. There will be weaponized vehicles regardless what this vocal minority wants, because they sell. If we are going to keep getting them, I would much prefer military grade vehicles over DIY/Mad Max horse sh*t that is always lacking armor and usually sports ugly design. If you're that afraid of the power creep, start a crew and run crew sessions or empty public sessions.

It seems the argument is less based in fear of what nautical contraptions would come and more on that it just doesn't seem practical for Rockstar to do. Obviously, you wouldn't feel threatened by an armed dinghy when you're on top of Chiliad, but when we're looking at it from a out-of-game perspective, that is work and money put into something that a lot of people might not buy into, and would detract from other possible pursuits that have been proven to sell well. I agree with you on the same want for any DLC - the appreciation of content, from the pure design of a vehicle to the history and inspirations behind it - but I doubt if it's in the best interests of most players (and so Rockstar) to do something so different.

They know weaponized toys are where the profits are at.

You must understand, of course, that while the standard vehicles far outnumber the weaponized, the weaponized will always be at an advantage over the unweaponized. For people who aren't into the endless combat of freeroam and would rather just enjoy their cars, it starts to become a real drag when every update encourages players to kill anybody who looks soft and squishy. Once upon a time, everybody was happy to have the handful of powerful, weaponized toys that spawned endlessly in Zancudo and upon calling Pegasus, and everybody was happy to go racing in their sports cars, and have car shows with their more obscure classics. Rockstar saw an opportunity to pamper the players with more toys, fast and ferocious, and we've come to a point where, while the weaponized vehicles are few, they're varied, accessible, and extremely powerful.

To claim anybody deserves something before somebody else is a stunning display of entitlement. We can look at this many ways - you might not be entitled to have what you want, it's a game about the fast life of a criminal and it's all going to end sooner or later, you've got to work for what you want; or you might be entitled to what you want, because it's a game and we're all here to have fun. I don't know which is more true or applicable to the state of GTA Online, but it's wrong to say either weaponized or unweaponized vehicles have been neglected - they've both got pros and cons, fans and haters.

Lastly, you're a little misguided on claiming that the only things that move units and sell Shark Cards are the weaponized vehicles. Plenty of players have never owned a weaponized vehicle, and plenty (myself included) have never purchased a Shark Card in the pursuit of owning one. Indeed, the only times I've used Shark Cards was for standard vehicles. Not wrong that the weaponized vehicles are big ticket items - like I said, they're powerful, fun toys for anybody who can afford them - but they are far from the only sellers.

Come on.. I can't take this naval sh*t serious anymore. Do we really have to analyze and discuss why it would be a horrible update to focus on?

Ive only stated they were big sellers. And while i may sound skeptical i know statistically there are those that buy shark cards just because they want to give rockstar money as a thank you even if theyre sitting pretty at millions or for a vehicle they like. But those are few and far between.

My point is that R* knows that the easiest sell is weaponized vehicles and the argument goes both ways. What resources could go into a weaponized dinghy could be thrown into the casino or a tuner car or even a hellicarrier. R* needs to make money. They have shareholders to answer to who dont care if the next update replaces all our weapons with foam fingers and converts all vehicles to animatronic tellitubbies so long as the quarterly profits are in line with the recent quarters. And i say its ignorant to think an update of all non weaponized vehicle will sell like something thatll terrorize a lobby. After all who do we scapegoat as the biggest buyer of shark cards? 12 year old tryhards who spend their lives in a 6.5 mill greifers tool terrorizing once peaceful lobbies.

i want some minigames on the next property they add

Offices had Don’t Cross the Line

Biker Clubhouses had... nothing

Bunkers had (as an upper-six-figure upgrade) the shooting range

Hangars had... nothing

Facilities had... nothing, unless you want to count the Orbital Canon as a “minigame” against other players

If Rockstar added some future feature that awarded other simple Office video games like DCtL in addition to reward money, I’d be all over that. Instead of the Office desk trophy or unlocking trade prices or whatever if you complete 10 fetch/delivery missions you would either find a treasure hunt note like the double-action revolver or the Assistant would call and you’d get a new Degenetron game. Though, hopefully not something like E.T. or Custer’s Revenge.

I was trying to think of high-end crimes that Rockstar hasn’t used yet and I came up with Forgery. Not the low-rent crap that you have with the Biker business, but top-dollar stuff that goes on IRL: rare artwork, classic cars, manuscripts, etc.

How about a mission where you have to break into a museum and replace an original with a forgery. (Stealth, new interiors). Next you steal a classic car so that your experts can copy it and you deliver the copies with faked papers.

And if I see this on some “hit that Like button and subscribe...” YT video, so help me I’lll.......

Can't believe I'm reading people asking for 50/50 split between military crap and cars, updates have really gone down the toilet. At least the copy/pasted business between F&F, Bikers and I/E actually had something to do with being a traditional criminal instead of playing pretend battlefield. At this stage I would actually take an aquatic DLC as long as it was actually about traditional crime (smuggling cigarettes and shet).

Here's what we'll get for the next DLC...one or two class breaking cars that you'll be required to own if you want to be competitive in races with competent racers. Some random weaponized vehicle that will make one of the weaponized vehicles we have now an obsolete paper weight. A new game mechanic / gimmick to create unnecessary pay walls that will limit your access to content but is mostly just a pit for you to throw money into. A continuing series of Adversary Modes which are all effectively death matches and poorly constructed variations of LTS or Capture the flag. And lastly, it'll be void of any kind of fix to wall breaches or broken game mechanics that don't affect Shark Card Sales.

You know what I'd love to see...a matchmaking update where matchmaking is improved and no longer cluster f*ck of terrible. Oh, and perhaps an update that actually fixes things like the broken ass catchup system in races or maybe a solution to afk players who always make X2 events a bitch to play because half your team is standing still...but we all know that sh*t aint happening and this isn't a DLC wishlist thread so I'll move on.

As for the Naval stuff...I'd be all for it. Give me a dock / boat house to store my sea faring vehicles and send me on some fun underwater excursions to find sunken treasure or loot from a downed aircraft. Is it for everyone? No. Hell I don't even like using boats in this game but I've always wanted a legit reason to spend some time in the ocean. But then again, we had a biker DLC in which the sell missions involve aircraft, pickup trucks and box trucks. I'm sure a Sailor DLC would somehow see us delivering goods on motorcycles and jetpacks...because Rockstar Logic.

Biker Clubhouse has darts.

Hopefully it's a 50/50 split lol. Everyone can have something they want. Good vibes, live and let live, etc.

DIY vehicles though, as mentioned on the last page, are less preferable to me, by a long way. That also goes for meme vehicles. I like my armed vehicles to be stuff that's real.

It's going to be an interesting week.

- Tax refund will be deposited in account between the 27th and the 6th.

- Current discounts and bonusses last till the 5th.

I'd say that points us towards a new DLC on the 6th, which means most likely getting the trailer tomorrow!

So there's that, and then there's my internal dilemma that i'd actually like a naval DLC, just because it can make the map feel a bit bigger, it's the only area that's not being utilized at all right now, and because i can see some interesting vehicles in it, such as:

- hovercraft

- a flying submarine

- aircraft carrier (come on, who doesn't want an aircraft carrier :) )

- some more weaponized boats we can waste money on.

On the other hand i really desperately need more garage space, and i don't see the naval DLC coming with a big garage (boathouse more likely)

Whatever it will be, i'm hopping on the hype train and i'm not coming off until we get that DLC :)

I must be one of few people who really enjoys the makeshift, homebrewed style for vehicles, weaponized or not. Then again, I'm a big fan of the post-apocalyptic genre as a whole, and those kinds of wheels are a cornerstone of that cult.

Of course, here in GTA, we do have a decent variety of "real," "could-be," and "totally fictitious." The majority seem to fall into the "real" category - and there's a lot of "real" to take inspiration from! - with vehicles like the Lazer, Rhino, Hydra, and Hunter. Then there's the handful of "could-be" vehicles - the Armoured Boxville, Ramp Buggy, et cetera. And the few "totally fictitious" examples - Ruiner 2000, Oppressor, and Deluxo.

The most powerful and popular are easily those which are the least realistic, which follows the idea that people want what they can't have in reality, though obviously GTA is a collector's paradise when it comes to vehicles. I would certainly imagine that, moving forward, we will see more of it all, be it straight out of Fallout or GI Joe or Car and Driver. Collectors will buy whatever Rockstar adds!

Seriously, what is it with this thread and its obsession of owning a private aircraft carrier? This has to be the most idiotic request besides more memecars.

God damn

I only played for a few minutes and my bunker already produced 70k of stock. This week is going to be insane.

Yeah just go ahead and rub it in real good while I'm 300 miles from my PS4, will ya? :D

I'm literally missing out on free money.. Also my thumbs will be sore from two days of hardcore grinding come Tuesday.

Ah, f*ck it. At least I have snow and 30 degrees celsius below zero.

Get PSVita m8 :p

Most of the thread has now been convinced that GTA is a military sim, apparently. At least it's not as bad as the helicarrier guy.

Just in my defense, the carrier would just be a starting point for new activities, i'm pretty sure that even if we do end up getting one it's going to be totally static except for perhaps a defense system like the yacht and some storage or a spawning point for planes and boats.

But as a static starting point for a naval DLC, what's cooler than an aircraft carrier? It sure beats just having a hatch in the ground leading to a bunker... And we know we all spent a couple of million to get one of those (two actually)...

'There's something expensive coming'

Nah, we definitely never had expensive DLCs before. Right?

Just another copy and paste.

A property you must own in order to buy expensive new vehicles with buy now/trade price with low pay missions and thw best part of each dlc...drip feed.

I wish we could get Some sort of car pacs in this game.

Kinda like Forza does with it's porshe or even fast and furious packs etc.

Now i know that rockstar can't use real cars but if they just make the cars kinda represent those cars from a car pack it would work.

For example a "movie tuner pack" including Nissan silvia,Honda civic, honda 2000,mazda rx7/8, supra,BMW e39 m5 etc. All stock but with tons of mods available.

they could do the same for a muscle pack.

Ford torino(fast and furious),classic mustang/shelby(gone in 60 seconds) a propper 60's chevele etc.

it could also contain a garage for the cars maybe? like someone mention in the other thread, kinda like in TDU 2

Come on.. I can't take this naval sh*t serious anymore. Do we really have to analyze and discuss why it would be a horrible update to focus on?

You don't have to do anything, no one is forcing you. Doors are this way <-

and to everyone complaining about weaponized vehicles - do you rly think that if we gonna get lets say... 10 DLCs without weaponized vehicles that would change ANYTHING? Nope! It would just mean it stays the same...

This game still has weaponized vehicles. Trolls would be still use 1 of 5 vehicles to troll you (instead of 1 of 20 different ones).

The only thing that changes is the variety and the ability to counter them in new different ways. I'm actually glad that now if I see a troll/grifer/kiddo/tryhard I can pick how to counter him

his going after me with deluxo or oppressor? = I can counter him with Hunter / Jetpack / explosive rounds

his going after me with a Jet? I can use explosive rounds / Pyro / Avenger.

If we didn't had all those? It would be just like before - Jet grifers all day everyday.

I don't have problem with those. What I have problem with? Those cheap R* tricks like Orbital cannons.

and do you guys rlllly think that if you will complain enough they will stop with those weaponized vehicles? ofc not... we been bitching about jets for 4 years before they decided to do something. And the only reason why they did something is because they had new grifing tools to sell.

Whatever DLC it is, as long as it brings more garage space and its a big DLC (the size of the last couple ones) then i'll be okay with just about anything.

Though preferably, #1 on the list would be Tuners, but I highly doubt thats coming in next, that seems more like a summer update
