They actually added some of this in the Doomsday Heist. Staying grounded, I think at the very least we will get a place to customize and dock watercraft at some point, hopefully soon. However, a full "aqua DLC" would be pointless without amphibious firearms and explosives. A luxury Submarine might actually get me to buy a shark card. Could Yan or Fun vouche for this leaker?

Next DLC? Hmm, I don't know. What more can they possibly release? Was the doomsday update the last big update they released or will it be more in 2018? If not, maybe small updates only from now on as they're focusing on RDR2 and maybe even GTA VI. As long as they won't release any more military futuristic DLC's I'm happy. We have definitely got more than enough of that already.

 

Putting too much content in the game is not good in my opinion because the old and valuable content might be forgotten. I think that while the players of GTAO is enjoying the new content, we should never forget about the old stuff because that's what made gta online to what it was. The old updates like heists, biker, CEO, I/E and much more are the foundation of gta online and the day we stop caring about that, that's when we will lose touch with the root of gta online. Of course it's up to each player to cherry pick what stuff he/she wants to enjoy and what to ignore/avoid, but speaking generally, a good balance of the old and the new is good for gtao in general... IMO at least. That being said, I'm glad that I still see some players doing the old stuff like the mc business, crates, heists, export import, races, stunt series and more when I play gta online. It confirms that there are still a lot of players who are enjoying the old content instead of abandoning it for the new things.

Did Foxy say anything beyond the tweet with the order of the cars on each website?

 

I say this, because like with the drip-feed for Gunrunning and Smuggler's Run, having multiple websites throws up the question of 'which website are they going to use this week?'.

Particularly considering how many other common wishlist items actually made it in this time, just not muscle cars and '90s sports cars (see also: Sentinel Classic, but not the GTA IV Sentinel everyone's wanted for ages...).

Foxy posted the actual photos of the in game websites, so we know the Hermes and Hustler are both second to last on their respective websites. I personally think they will be released together but we know for sure that the Hermes will be released for Festive, so that implies that all the vehicles before that, should be released before/at the same time.

Ah, yeah - really, the main thing that's a big question mark for me is 'will the Hermes come with the snow, or with the free gifts?'. And after that, 'will R* just do several unlocks per week, or do multiple cars each Tuesday?' - I could see them doing:



1. Sentinel Classic today, Streiter Tuesday, Hermes with the snow by the 22nd/23rd

 

2. Sentinel Classic Tuesday, Streiter 22nd/23rd, Hermes with the gifts on the 25th

 

- or -

 

3. Sentinel Classic & Streiter Tuesday, Hermes either by the weekend after, or Xmas day

 

- or as a really unlikely scenario, IMO -

 

4. Sentinel Classic & Streiter Tuesday, Autarch with the snow by the weekend, Hermes Xmas day

 

 

I'm going with 2 or 3 - I think the Autarch might well be the first thing after the Hermes, and I'm leaning more towards 'lots of single releases', rather than two cars at once.


(I fully expect to be COMPLETELY off the mark, and to look like an utter wally when R* throws a curveball instead... )

Aside: I'm really happy to see the offroaders (myself included) be shown some love. I'm hyped as hell for the Kamacho, and I'm loving the Riata. The Hustler and the Hermes are getting my mouth watered up, but it hurts to see them locked behind dripfeeding.

Supposedly were getting the Hermes for free for festive suprise, but its in the middle of foxy's release order. That means either the xmas gifts were changed, or they aren't following the normal release schedule, or maybe were getting a big dump of cars this year. R* fgt leaked that for i/e they were gonna release everything day 1, but changed their mind. Maybe this year they will actually do it.

I was thinking the same thing on weds. It would be awesome. Maybe the backlash from dripfeeding finally got to them.
