I just can't see a nautical themed business working. In the water, your delivery vehicles would be bait for any armed air vehicle, you're basically a sitting duck...

Submarines, anti-air missiles, 30mm turret, chaff/flares. Lots of stuff that could be done

Be easy from their end to implement too, aircraft carrier and such.

 

Cheap, the potential to add weapons to vehicles that already exist, the crate/hanger system would seem more ideal here.

The shot of the sub lurching through the deep sold me instantly, I actually squeed with giddy excitement when it docked to the aircraft carrier. Never have I made such an instantaneous turn around on a proposed DLC theme before... if done right it really could be pretty great.

I had been one of the more vocal opponents of a nautical based DLC until I saw a Sonny Evans video yesterday that was a concept style video. The shot of the sub lurching through the deep sold me instantly, I actually squeed with giddy excitement when it docked to the aircraft carrier. Never have I made such an instantaneous turn around on a proposed DLC theme before... if done right it really could be pretty great.

 

 

Could help make the map feel a bit bigger too, using the ocean to it's fullest.

 

If, unlike Smuggler's Run, they make it a very profitable business too, it'll mean more spread wih all the options, solo's and crews/teams out there.
